very disappointing. This is not a Vellux material blanket but a polyester blanket sold by the Vellux brand. I did not realize that until after I washed it. If you want a Vellux foam blanket you must buy the one that says original Vellux. Original Vellux has less static, collects less lint, is warmer and holds better than polyester fleece which this is.

Northern Illinois, drafty house, weird weather. So I have a plush lux for deep winter and it replaced my electric blanket in all the best ways. I am super sensitive to begin with and have fibromyalgia. If you know, you get it. So I was trying to find a spring/fall alternative to that that wouldn't roast me if I have a hot flash or sensitivity flare up. Google couldn't help, and when I messaged Vellux they just referred me to another company. I tried the 'plush' version which was totally not plush and horrible in every way, then I stumbled across this. It is exactly what I was looking for. Lint was almost non existant. Keeps me and my husband perfectly warm. Even when I have a hot flash I don't wake up dripping. And the minky softness is equally amazing to the plush lux. Literally the only meh point is that I ordered light grey, and it's so light it's more of a pearl white. But it 5 stars in every other category and we don't eat in bed or allow pets in bed so it does not matter. It is a solid enough blanket that even if you prefer to sleep with animals I highly doubt they'd hurt it, unless you don't clip their nails.

I love this blanket. I have two of them, one each in Khaki and Maroon(Wine?). They are heavy and warm. I've washed both blankets a couple of times and so far no sign of degradation.My only issue, they walk off the bed. I don't think there is a way of manufacturing this type of blanket that it would not walk. When you roll over, it compresses some of the fibers and when the spring back to provide the warm air space they are there for, it cause the blanket to move. The direction of travel can be changed by reorienting the blanket, so both of mine a a little tag on the bottom. By placing that tag I can always get the blanket to walk up the bed, instead of off the side.

This was my 4th blanket, because after I got one for my bed, everyone in my family had to have one too. It's super silky soft and so pleasant to touch that it helps me drift off to sleep. I've washed these multiple times, including one I've had for over a year, and they haven't lost any of their quality or softness.

Right out of the package lint was flying everywhere. Didn't even take a chance on washing and drying it. Packed it up, and sent it back. :(

Highly recommend this blanket! It is soft, toasty warm and doesn’t shed. When I washed and dried it there was hardly any lint in the lint collector in the drier which is really impressive. The seams are also well sewn. Also it is warmer so it can often just be used alone as the only blanket.

I bought this and was super excited with the color and the softness. However, a month after use I have discovered the top seam of it has come undone (mind you it has only been washed twice, and it has not been with me long enough to call it wear and tear) I also ordered sheets along with this blanket and had a horrible experience( not from the same seller), had them for a day and they snagged. Honestly I am too disappointed with all the stuff I purchased for my new King size bed to care enough to return this product at this time. I will probably just sew it up and call it good. I will not be ordering any more products from this seller.

This blanket is very heavy. Did not keep my feet warm. Will not be able to use this. The blanket is soft, but just very heavy which makes it hard to sleep with and a pain when it comes to making the bed.

This is wonderful. It has a bit of weight which is nice. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit heavier to be honest. But it is exactly as advertised. I just wish it had been available in the fig/wine colour. It is soft, furry and warm. Just what I wanted.
