Does a decent job. Comfortable. Doesn't swivel. Not trivial to assemble.
The packaging looked like it was done by someone in a big hurry (or maybe it had been opened and taped back up). Parts were just kinda lumped in there; the inner box had torn and some parts were loose in the outer box. They were all there, though, and basic tools were included. Assembly instructions were printed fairly small, but they did make sense. The parts didn't fit _perfectly_, but they were close enough that I didn't have to drill/file/ream any holes larger than they were to get the screws to go into the holes. Not the toughest assembly I've seen, but it isn't IKEA, either. As far as the chair goes, it's better than I was expecting for the price. It puts me in a posture that I was comfortable working in for extended periods (the shin support is large and squishy enough that it didn't press hard in any one spot). I like that it _is_ height-adjustable with the pneumatic piston (like a normal chair), but this chair does _not_ swivel. It has casters so that you can turn the whole chair, but, on carpet, this is not as easy as a swivel. The main downside of this chair is that the lumbar support is _not_ height-adjustable. I'm rather tall (6 feet), so this support is a little low and just presses against the top of my hip when I lean back.Overall, I think this is a great chair for inexpensively testing to see if these types of chairs are going to work for you. Down the road, if this helps my posture and back issues, I will probably sell this in a yard sale and buy one that's more expensive with more features.

Great chair to relieve pressure from low back. A challenge to assemble.
The media could not be loaded. This chair has some great pluses, and a few odd minuses. We followed the directions and took high quality video, so the path will be easier for the next person who assembles this chair. We also took pictures from a few different angles so you can use them to compare progress as you build. The chair itself is very comfortable. It’s a strange combination of office chair and one of the face down massage chairs from the airport. The air cylinder adjusts like an office chair, scissoring the frame up and down. The hand rests help you to move around when needed. There is also an adjustment for the width of your knee,.. or how wide you make the opening that receives your foreleg. That adjustment requires moving a pin between one of several holes and then screwing it down in place. So if you had planned to share this chair between several different height people,.. it’s possible, after you adjust it manually. For us, it’s a one person chair, so it’s more of a set it and forget it situation. Most of the hardware worked fine; There were two holes in the frame that had to be re-tapped. We used an M6x1.0 tap to clean these up.In addition to this, only one of the adjustment holes lined up enough to slide the bolt through. All the rest had to be drilled out to the next size to fit the bolt.Hopefully quality control will have figured that out before you get yours. We’ve pointed out in the video, where we drilled and which tap we used. All in all, the chair is comfortable and does exactly what it promises. The assembly was difficult not because of complexity, but because of misaligned holes and threads that were tapped before they were welded. It was disappointing at this price point, to receive an unfinished product that still needed light machining. That said, the chair itself is good, this the high marks for ergonomics. We hope our video will help to make the construction of your chair easier. If ergonomics are the upside to this chair, the easily scratched finish would be it’s downside. The paint flakes off readily near screw holes. It didn’t appear to have primer under it, either way it’s not the worst, not the best.

Not worth the price
I hate setting up this chair. Like I despise it. For the price of this chair ($175 after tax), the instruction should have been better. Nothing was labeled so I trying to guess the screw and what position. I was having issues fitting some stuff. I did one piece wrong so I had to redo. It took me over an hour to finish and I ended up feeling sick because of getting a headache and back pain. For the price of this chair, I would totally avoid the chair. I’ve used this chair on two full work days which I worked about 8 to 10 hours, and I hated it. My butt hurts. Maybe I’m not using it correctly but my butt starts to hurt around one to two hours in. Just not worth it.

Good product, tricky to assemble.
I immediately felt relief in my sciatic nerve (waist), which is just what I was looking for, however, think I will need time to get used to the new position. I wish the chair had armrests. When you assemble it, the trick is to pay attention so that the wheeles' screew holes are facing down to the floor. I assemble and it turned out they were looking up (it wasn't obvious and I realized this almost when I was finished) so I had to disassemble and reassemble.Make sure you leave enough room to slide your knees on the cushion (not so close to the seat cushion), for this, select an intermediate pair of holes in the lower "K" frame, even so, you may still need to readjust. Good luck.

Takes time to assemble
Cushions are good and solid. Assemble time is longer than should be due to misaligned holes.

Falls Apart
I bought this chair to use at work (office/desk job) 39 days ago. Assembly did take two people and the instructions were not that easy to follow. It took us 2 hours to get it together and we double checked and tightened all the screws. I sit on it 4 days a week and today the screws on the seat literally fell out. Upon inspection, all of the screws were extremely loose....not just a little. I recommend tightening the screws on it every couple of weeks to make sure you don't fall off the chair when the screws fall out.

Poor engineering
I had read another review saying the directions were not helpful. I figured I could do it anyway and quickly realized I should have listened. All of the proportions of back rest, knee placement, space between seat and knee cushion, all of it is just so…off.
