Easy install and works great on the T6 lawn tractor!

The blades were very easy to replace. Works great.

EGO customer support wasn't able to tell me if this fit the lawn tractor we bought. The owners manual said it did, so I took a chance and bought it hoping it would work. It fits, it's easy to install and works well. The manual says it will drain the batteries a bit more when using it but we have less than an acre so not a concern for us.I'm giving it 4 stars because it's expensive for what it is and a mulching option should come standard with an expensive lawn tractor.

As with everything EGo, I am happy. Install was less than a minute. I don't know why this didn't come with my Z6 tractor to begin with. You would think the customer purchasing an EV tractor is 99% likely to mulch their grass, rather than landfill it.Come on now...

If you follow the included instructions, you will disconnect the entire cutting deck and install the blades upside down. Alternately, you can jack up the front of the lawnmower and install the blades in place, which saves some time but is a bit awkward.

As indicated in the other review, this is compatible with the T6 lawn tractor from EGO, even if the box doesn't say it is compatible. It is possible to remove the side discharge shoot entirely so that it isn't in the way (photo), but it does involve disassembling the side discharge shot through removing the retaining clop and integrated spring, and re-installing the top retaining clip. This means it isn't possible to quickly switch between mulching and side discharge anymore.
