Work good but louder than oem.
Fixed mixer works great but a little louder than before the top gear was very tight to get on and off but is doable, the snap ring pliers are not very good quality but get the job done after a few tries.

Great Product
This was just what the doctor ordered. My husband had the gears replaced in no time and my kitchen aide mixer is working great. Saved a few hundred by not sending it in to the service center.

Not bad.
Overall, this products gets your mixer operational again. Like other reviewers, I also experienced an increase in noise level despite filling the gear housing with all supplied grease and using all gears and pieces provided. However, I am familiar that other meshed gears require some "breaking in," so perhaps the sound will lessen with continued use. Just hopeful speculation. My chief complaint is a lack of instructions or even the naming of parts. At least a diagram of the worm gear assembly would have been very handy to be included. Yes, you can find these online, but it is highly likely your hands or gloves will be covered with grease by the time you get to that point. It would be very easy to include a single page of an exploded parts diagram. So, just pay attention to exact part placement and orientation during disassembly to make up for a lack of part installation description and you should be good. This was installed on a KitchenAid Pro600 mixer.

Waste of money and time.
I bought this for routine maintenance on a professional 600. After installing all included parts, the mixer had a loud rattle which increased in frequency when the motor was sped up. I spent A LOT of time rechecking the parts install including runner the motor with the gears installed just to check that the motor wasn’t faulty. I ultimately re-installed all of the original gears and the mixer immediately ran with no abnormal noise. I did notice the gear provided that sits below the bevel gear has way too much play on the shaft that it attaches to ( original gear needed a small mallet to remove and eventually reinstall). Cheap machined gears caused a lot headache and I should have just bought Kitchen Aid branded parts. Wish I could get my money and time back.

Worked great for us
I bought a KitchenAid mixer online that needed fixed, so I figured out what I needed and this worked great. With a mixer that is used regularly it has held up well. Easy to install.

Good purchase, I was very happy with the quality
I purchased this kit to update some of the parts in my mixer. I didn't use the whole kit but rather found myself using parts from 2 different ones. I used the drive gear (for attachements because I noticed my old one was worn. I also used some of the grease but here again I also used grease from another kit. It really made a difference quieting down the mixer since it was about 40 years old and I had never cleaned out the old grease.

Meh, spend more money on a better product.
The gear that has a spindle is not right. When spinning the fan wheel located on the back end, the spindled gear did not touch the gear coming from the motor ie no rotation on the new gear. Replaced new spindle with the old one and have contact. Yes it's noisey but was impatient when ordering. Mr mixer supplies were out of stock. I will update next time I make bread. The replacement pinch ring is too big.

A complete kit to replace gears in the top of the mixer
The kit includes a replacement gasket, a tool to remove the retaining clip, 4 gears, extra screws (in case you lose any removing the cover), an extra retaining clip (in case it flies off and is lost when removing the old one), and plenty of food-grade grease. It doesn't have directions, but there are plenty of good videos on U-Tube showing the removal/replacement process. One bit of advice: If the dough hook stalls while the mixer motor is running, and if there's no unusual noise, the problem may be that the planetary gear assembly has loosened. That would require a different replacement part, as I found out. But the kit was great!
