NO AFTERTASTE!!

I love this stuff! Monk fruit is a fantastic real food sweetener. 100% monk fruit (not mixed with erythritol, stevia or allulose) is super hard to find & the powered versions I've tried have a really bad aftertaste. It tastes like burn plastic. It's usable in super small amounts & when you can hide the flavor. This liquid version however, is fantastic! I don't know how Now Foods pulls it off, but that burn chemical flavor is gone in this liquid formula. I use it in my nut butters, coffee/tea, yogurt, and anything else that needs a kiss of sweetness. No other 100% monk fruit compares & this 8 oz. bottle goes a LONG way. A bottle lasts me 8+ months, it's the best & research thus far shows zero heath concerns. Give it a try!

Vary good tasting no calorie sweetner

I am very happy with this product. The sweetner tastes very natural. Only a few drops sweeten as if 1 1/2 tsp sugar. A very good product.

Best Sweetener Around!

This Monk Fruit sweetener is the best! I have been using it for 2 years and it's the only one that satisfies my cravings for sweetness in my coffee. 4-5 drops and I'm set for the day. I even carry a bottle in my purse. (Just in case)NOW makes great natural products. We use them on a regular basis.Treat yourself to this Monk fruit sweeter! It lasts awhile and tastes so good.

A good supplemental sweetener

Like stevia, this is a good sweetener if you either use very little, or mix it with a non-bitter sweetener like dextrose. Like stevia and saccharin, if you use enough to really sweeten something, it's a little bitter. If you mix it with stevia and saccharin, and nothing else, it's still bitter. So we still have no good no-cal sweetener. Sucralose & aspartame give me headaches, xylitol and erythritol can cause stroke, and saccharin, stevia, and monk fruit are bitter.

Great sugar substitute!

This is my first time using this, and I am eager to write this review, cause my Se was based on reviews I read about it.It’s so sweet, has a little bit of after taste, only one or two tiny drops is needed for me, cause I don’t like too sweet.I have been wasting money on other sugar substitute(the aftertaste with them were awful), until I came across the monk fruit liquid. I do not regret getting it. It has no scent. In addition, I do not have any bloated feeling as other reviews suggested. I am a happy customer.

Easy to use and economical

There are a ton of artificial sweeteners available and it took a lot of trial and error to settle on this product as a favorite. This is one of the few organic monk fruit sweeteners that doesn't have erythritol in it. I can taste the erythritol and find it unpleasant with an aftertaste. (For my tastes monk fruit tastes closest to regular cane sugar than stevia or other products so I don't like the many different blends that are available.) This product does have cane alcohol in it.Overall this product is one of the most expensive per serving substitute sweeteners b/c it is 1) organic 2) liquid 3) no erythritol 4) only monk fruit based. So cheaper choices are available but you would have to give up something out of the 4.I am using a sugar substitute to control blood glucose -- I drink iced tea sweetened with this product all day long and it has no effect on my blood glucose readings, so mission accomplished. I don't use it in anything other than cold beverages but would like to try it in baked goods or on oatmeal or berries.

Product itself is great. It doesn't lend itself well to re-bottling in something else though.

Product- 5 starsPackaging - 1 starTotally happy with taste and density. But the bottle has constant seepage that makes it forever sticky and wastes produce ni matter how tight the cap is on. Gets over everything in a bag or pocket. I finally had to resort to keeping it in an oversize prescription bottle.

Very good Monk Fruit sweetener

First off I want to reiterate what another reviewer mentioned.... that this is a sugar-free, carb-free sweetener, that will add A sweetness to whatever you put it in, but it will NOT replace the taste of actual sugar. Sugar is sugar....and since it can be so damaging to our health, can you imagine how rich any person or company would be if they could make a product that was completely sugar-free, but tasted IDENTICAL to sugar?! Such a product would probably be rated as the top selling item on Amazon, and I'd no doubt be stocking up on it myself! I'm not trying to be facetious or anything, just honest. Some people know this, and are just looking for a possible alternative to the various other sugar-free sweeteners out there, but I think some folks actually misunderstand the positive reviews and think they are ordering something that will replace sugar, but taste JUST like sugar. If that is what you are looking for, this item probably......ok ok, definitely, won't work for you. However, if you are looking for a natural alternative to aspartame or sucrulose, or something else besides stevia or xylitol (or other sugar alcohols like xylitol, such as erythritol), then this may be a good option for you to try. As for me, I've tried them all! It does come down to personal taste, and what you like (or don't like) mixed in with your sweetener. I don't mind stevia, and have used it, but I find that I like the taste of monk fruit sweeteners more (I've never had the chance to try any actual monk fruit). One of the few monk fruit brands that can be found at some stores is the Lakanto brand. It is mixed heavily with the sugar alcohol erythritol though (many stevia brands also include erythritol in their ingredients- either erythritol or dextrose). Erythritol is completely carb-free (unlike dextrose), but some people can have digestive sensitivities to sugar alcohols, or find that they have their own aftertaste like stevia does. This NOW brand of liquid monk fruit is, to me, the best of any non-sugar sweeteners I've tried, and I like that it doesn't have any artificial preservatives, sugar alcohols or dextrose added to it. As a side note, "sugar alcohols" are oddly named, they do not contain any ethanol, and can be found in some fruits and vegetables. Ok, back to the review. I've used Monk Fruit in the Raw in the past. It comes in packet form....and it took MUCH more product to sweeten something than even these drops do (as compared to, say, stevia packets). So, that part MAY be related to the Monk Fruit, but when you look up the price of other of monk fruit products, this isn't that cost prohibitive in comparison (again, in my opinion- the only thing more personal than taste is people's view of money ;-)). I'm on my 3rd bottle of it, and I started the first bottle the 1st of February of this year, 2019, and tomorrow is June 1. I also have to use a bit more than what is suggested on the bottle to get the level of sweetness I want. But the bottle does allow you to control the drops MUCH better than many other bottles used for these types of sweeteners. I hope this helps. I know I'm always leery of trying something new (because it's no fun wasting money), and often read the reviews to see if anything is posted that maybe useful in my decision making. It's unfortunate companies don't give out small test samples like they used to do in the days of my youth (or so I seem to remember anyway, lol!) ;-)
