Lipper International Acacia Wood Bread Cutting and Serving Board with Ceramic Dipping Bowl

When I saw this appear on my screen (while shopping for something else), I just liked it straightaway.I love the simplicity of the shape and the warmth of the wood. Its perfect for setting up cheese tastings, for appetizers and for a french style bread (a long loaf, but wider than a baguette). The small condiments bowl that comes with it is cute and functional as the product photos show, viz., with shrimp cocktail.It is made of nice quality wood with good craftsmanship, not perfect, but good. There were a few rough spots on the inner lip of the dish I received, but that part does not touch any food, moreover, will likely rub-out with wear and application of mineral oil.The thickness of the dish is nice and substantial without being bulky. It feels ample and sturdy, but dont put it in the dishwasher, or soak it in water, or use it to hold foods with lots of liquid or acidic juices. If the wood starts looking pale and dry, treat it with a small amount of food grade mineral oil, buff and let it absorb overnight.Keep in mind this is a long (16”) narrow dish. You will have to find space to store it. Those are the only caveats about this item—know the dimensions of it b4 buying.Overall, I recommend this dish…(i think the manufacturer calls it a bread board). It can be many other things too.

So beautiful! The bowl and dish work well together aesthetically, and it looks great with bread on it and balsamic/olive oil in the bowl. We have also used the bowl to hold marinara for dipping and that was great as well.

Received the item in time along with other items ordered. Package was adequate. Looks exactly as we imagined prior to purchase. We have used it only once so far during the Holiday season. Am happy with it so far. Will give additional feedback after prolonged use

Perfect for my country kitchen. Currently I used it as a citrus tray to hold my lemons lined in a roll. When I don't have real citrus, I place my "real like" lemons and not one knows the difference. The small bowl is now a prep bowl.

This fits a baguette...but I use it for round crackers. Love it.

The first set shipped without the bowl??? Love being a prime member so I could send back and get a new one on time for a party. The size is a bit small but holds baguette slices nicely.

I love this bread board, it's beautiful and the right size, I can't wait to entertain! My only comment (hence the 4 stars) is that the bowl was packaged right against the surface of the board and caused a mark that looked like a water mark. Easy enough to fix though, I just poured some olive oil on the blemish and left it for the day while I was as work, it's fine now. I think this could be avoided by having a piece of packaging material between the two.
