My mum is bed ridden and is unable to wash her hair. She got my dad to warm it in the microwave for her and used it. She was chirpy once I’d spoke to her as she’d not washed her hair for a while. These caps were easy to use and made my mum feel fresh and clean despite being unable to shower. Worth the money.

Works well, left my hair feeling clean. As others have mentioned it does drip a bit especially at the front.It's basically a wet cloth in a showercap but it does the job. My hair was damp at the end, I towel dried it but as it was summer it would probably have been ok drying naturally. My head felt clean and my hair was soft afterwards.

This was a great purchase to help my bed bound husband clean his hair and scalp.It was easy to use, 15 seconds in the microwave, then put on head.I would note - for a better clean, massage all over for about 5 minutes, then leave cap on for another 5, depending on hair length. My husbands is shoulder length.Also put a few towels around and tight to the neck as fluid does escape and drip down.The hair is quite damp after too, so don't expect it to be dry.Overall though, very happy with these, am so glad someone told us about them. Having clean hair makes a big difference when you're feeling rubbish.Recommended!

Bought these for camping, didn't want dirty hair but didn't want to use on-site facilities during a short stay and with Covid. These are easy to use, didn't warm mind in microwave just placed straight on head from packet, look just like shower cap, left on my short hair for about 5-10 mins, did find some liquid escaped if I moved around too much but the instructions do tell you to put a towel around your neck whilst using, I found the liquid escaped from my forehead rather than the back, just need to wipe so not to get in eyes. This cap worked a treat, when I removed it my hair was damp and smelled lovely, I dried with towel, perfect. I know these/similar are used in the care sector, there are cheaper versions available from companies that supply the care sector and because these are very expensive, I would consider ordering from else where.What I need to say is out if the two I have used so far, one was very moist and gave a great hair wash, the other had less liquid in the cap and I had to massage the cap whilst it was on my head, something the instructions tell you not to do, it did wash my hair, but I'm not sure if the first was too wet or the second too dry, regardless my hair was clean and ultimately that is the objective.My view, great as camping essential and great if you are in a position where you are unable to wash your hair or visit hair dresser, if you are able to, or if someone is able to help you get this on your head then you can wash your hair effectively.There is a concern about impact on the environment, especially with disposal.....I will consider this if I were to purchase similar in the future....but if you can't wash your hair for whatever reason, i.e no access to water, these make a great go to item.

Satisfactory product if circumstances require you to purchase these.

I used these for three months - once every two or three weeks, as I had a medical condition that prevented me from being able to regularly wash my hair and was happy with the result.. it really seemed to clean my hair even if it left it rather thick and 'hanging' in clumps every day following the wash, which needed to be brushed out regularly. I was then terrified to see that when brushing I would lose literally a handful of hair it was very disturbing and upsetting and I was convinced I was going bald. This continued for the whole time I used these shower caps and my hair content has become very thin, especially on top of my head. I dread to think what it looks like. I eventually stopped using the caps and used a normal shampoo and instantly the hair loss stopped. The next day I brushed my hair and the hair stopped coming out of my head. I was so relieved. I have not had any problems since so no, I don't recommend using them. I am surprised to see that no one else has reported this problem.

I recently had surgery for a detached retina. Getting tap water in the affected eye is a complete no-no. I didn't like the idea of not being able to wash my hair, so I thought that trusty Amazon would have a solution to the problem. It did, these are brilliant. You just put the mop cap on, keeping your hair inside it and massage your head as if you were washing your hair normally, you can use it by yourself but I found it easier if someone did it for me.It does drip down the forehead but all you do is use a towel to mop it up. My hair dries just the same as if I had washed it normally. I'll be having cataract surgery once my eye has fully healed and it's good to know that I'll be able to use these again. They are good value at around £2.75 each. I thoroughly recommend these.
