YANSHON Digital Servo High Torque Gear High Torque, Control Angle 360° High Rotation, 20KG

Bought this servo to play around with continuous servos on an Arduino. While I'm no expert on the quality of servos, this one does seem rather solid. It looks and feels like it was built well. I haven't done true torque tests yet, but for what I need it seems fine.Be aware, continuous servos work different then what you would consider a servo to do. The pulse widths don't control which to degree to rotate to, but instead, control which way to rotate and how fast. However high you set the pulse controls whether it rotates clockwise or counter clockwise, at a certain speed (setting the pulse to to 1500 us halts it, while still holding position).There's no internal pot that knows where it's current located (that's all up to you).

The media could not be loaded.  I bought six at a time for a fun project, they all worked flawlessly. they do not have very much torque around ~4.8v so double check your power supply if you think they are too weak. I did not want to bother with setting up the ranges to communicate so I just used adafruit's libraries. The PCA9685 was the board i tested it on with a raspi 0WH as the microcontroller. I am really happy that my knockoff NASA rover is going to be rolling on some wheels soon.

No need for a 50 60 $100 servo as a winch. This thing picks up my truck like a boss so far. A good idea to add a on off switch if you don't have a 3 position toggle on your controller. Other than that the Winch bobin and hook here works well with this so get them both and be done. It fits perfectly in the VS-10 Vanquish no problems.

Seems like a high quality servo. No issues with it other than the plastic gussets on the mounts not fitting my design. Cut ‘em off and good to go. Servo is slow in rotation.

If you're looking for a servo that provides anything close to 20Kg (44lb) of Torque, this is not the servo you need. I can easily keep the servo from moving with my fingers. I suppose it's possible that I got a bad servo. When I took it out of the package, I immediately noticed that it looked and felt extremely cheap. I decided to give it a try, however, and my initial thoughts were spot on. It does rotate up to 360 degrees, but it is very loud and a little slow. I am returning this as defective, although I think it is just a low-quality servo.
