Excellent power and silent. No complaints!
Was a bit hesitant to buy as it’s cheap, but has been running flawlessly for my return pump on my planted tank. Strong and adjustable flow and absolutely silent!Best bang for your buck on pumps out there. The only thing I’d love to see down the road is 11/24V volt control capability to be able to adjust setting with my aquarium controller.

1.5 year in 40 gallon reef tank
I like this pump, it is quiet enough, and has different adjustments, been using it in my 40 gallon nano reef tank and this pump has given me no problems so far, it has been reliable for about 18 months and still going on as first day...

Great pump
I purchased this pump as a “filler” until I could get a replacement for my expensive DC pump. As it turns out this pump is great on my Reefer 350. Same flow as the expensive pump and is quieter!

Good customer service
Good customer service can't say great because of the turn around time on communication but I had an issue with the pump I bought and they offered to send a replacement out. I'm hoping all goes well and I receive it in a timely manner. But as for the pump it's very quiet when it was working couldn't even tell it was running but then something went faulty which good thing I caught it because my heater is in the sump and my tank would of been getting colder and colder by each day. All in all seems to be a pretty good product will definitely know once the replacement arrives maybe I just got a faulty unit.

I'm going to say "just OK"
Update: it's now February and this pump is barely pumping water. It's been kind of spotty in use the entire time but now I'm looking to replace it. Do not recommend this pump!I ordered this to connect to my ice bath tank / chiller. I've got a strainer inline from the outlet of the ice bath connected directly to this pump. My chiller is a 1 HP chiller that by default uses 1" ID hose. When I connected the pump directly to the chiller via 1" hosing and the correct fitting for the pump that is supposed to support the 1" hose, the thing leaked all over. I tried everything I could to get the 1" hose to work but I couldn't get the leak to stop. What I wound up doing was reducing the 1" hose to a 3/4" hose, changing the fitting to use 3/4" on the pump (the pump comes with multiple fittings to support multiple hose sizes) and then it worked perfectly.I will say the pump HAS to be at or below the outlet level (this is for a non-submersible application) or it won't work.My overall recommendation is that if you want to use 1" hosing, find a different pump; otherwise, it seems acceptable.

Neglected maintaining it for years and it still works
Super reliable and quiet. Only downside is no 0-10v control but it's a cheap Amazon special.I neglected this pump for a long time (years, no cleaning, high calcium levels) it worked flawlessly. It finally flashed the error code E-18. There was no mention of it in the manual.I just soaked the entire pump in a 1:1 vinegar:water solution and used a pipe brush to clean the interior and impeller. After about 15min it was running again and has been for 2 weeks.Same reliability as more expensive pumps with more bells and whistles (0-10v control for an apex) but way cheaper. If it ever does die for good I'll probably buy a fancier name brand, but so far it won't die so here we are.

Very impressed
These pumps work very well. I have 4 set up on different tank. I have done zero maintenance on them, probably should but I just don’t. Oldest one is two years old. None have changed in capability or power throughout their life. They are programmable just as described. I have no need or desire for the wave function so I don’t use that. I plan to stick with these as for their price and ability, if one does crap out after years, it’s relatively cheap to replace

I bought more than 10 of this pumps
I have bought so far more than 10 of this brand pumps in three different sizes 5000, 9000 and 12000 and all are working fine, working 24/7 since4-2019 the first one. Good quality pump and solid customer support when I needed. Only issue so far one controller went dark so I called customer services and they sent a new one next day. You have to at least once a year open the pump and clean the impeller but that' it. I use it for water circulation in multiple aquariums sump filters for my Discus fish.
