I am a "senior" who just retired from a paper pushing job of 47+ years and now I am working in a job that requires me to be on my feet ALL DAY long. With two bad knees and low arches and high foot pressure I was in MUCH pain at the end of each workday when wearing my regular sneakers. I opted to try Dr. Scholl's inserts based on the reading recommendation and they helped and then I decided to try these sneakers.I have worn the orthoheel sandals during my corporate working years and remembered they really helped.....so why not. The instructions say to wear these for a few hours at a time, well true to nature, I did not listen and I wore them ALL day the first day I received the, and I was basically PAIN FREE at the end of the work day.........such a relief.I would recommend these shoes to anyone with arthritis in the knees and any foot issues. Years of wearing high heels and bad foot wear take their toll and these shoes have provided me with the most relief and I will continue to wear them proudly and pain free!

First I have to admit these shoes are nothing to look at. I call them my clodhoppers. But then I have to say that these are great shoes for walking. They are so comfy with a somewhat thick sock like seoulstory or smartwool or similar that once you break the shoes in they will become your favorite walking shoes. They did require a breaking in period of a couple of weeks since i don't walk every day. And so comfy that I now wear them as my everyday shoes. I don't have a foot problem but I have had an ankle problem and worried about protecting my ankle from twisting. No problems so far. Your foot sits well in the shoes and I can easily walk short distances as well as longer trips. I didn't think i would like them so much. I did buy the white ones also and they look a bit nicer.

I can't recommend this product enough. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis the past six months with terrible pain. I had made plans months in advance a trip to Hawaii but as the time approached I was almost dreading the trip because I was in such pain from plantar fasciitis. I decided to give Vionic shoes a try...why not, my feet couldn't hurt anymore than they already did. Well I am happy to report, these shoes made a huge difference. So much so that for 8 days I walked 7-9 miles a day with little problems. Sure my feet were tired by the end of the day but so were my husbands. Tired and pain are two different issues. It made a huge difference in pain level. I highly recommend trying Vionic shoes. So glad I gave them a try because it really did save my vacation. I certainly will be buying more Vionic shoes. Made a believer out of me.

Bought these with very high expectations and hopes to help cope with plantar fasciitis (PF) but sorry to say they did not help my condition. The shoes are too hard on my ball of my feet, because I still tend to put little more pressure there due to inevitable (although mild) toe-walking that happens with this condition. Maybe the default orthotic sole that come with these shoes are a misfit for my feet is all I can think, because my heel pain gets worse after wearing these shoes. Switched to good quality ASICS with Dr. Scolls gel pads, acupuncture to get better relief for the heel. Hence these second, unused pair of $100 shoes are going back. I wore the first pair few times in a hospital setting, hence I will keep them because I feel guilty to send those back after that kind of usage, although I doubt I will ever wear them. I even bought the HTP heel the pain gel pad with no relief, night splints help quite a bit althogh pain is still there to a lesser degree. I am learning that dropping cash to get stuff that turn out to be useless by trial and error and being patient with icing and rest are part of this dreaded condition. Good luck to all with PF.

My feet hurt so bad I could barely walk. I had been inactive for a long period due to an ankle injury. Over a year. When I recovered and tried to return to being on my feet all day, within a couple months I was limping around in pain and unable to sleep.Putting the shoes on provided almost instant relief -- a few hours of walking in them. There is discomfort for the foot that was worst. It feels like the shoe is helping reposition the bones.I've only had them a week, but if I go without them, even around my house, the foot pain returns after a half day.I've never tried any other orthopedic shoes, so I don't know how they compare, but I couldn't live without these. Well worth the money, and I usually shop thrift stores and walmart.

Second pair to replace the first after a year of hard use. These snearkers are a god-send. I am moving all the time at my retail job and these shoes keep me active and my feet pain free for the six hours on my feet. They hug where they are supposed to hug and support where they are supposed to support. The laces stay tied and the black color doesn't show scuffs. These are better than all the clogs and special shoes I tried before finding them.

I am crazy over these shoes. I work 12hr night shifts, three times a week at a hospital. I have (diagnosed) plantar fasciitis and the pain was often excruciating. These shoes work wonders. Around the third day in a row, my feet are a little achy but tolerable.When I wear my normal shoes I use Tuli's Heavy Duty Heel Cups that I can transfer to any shoe I like and these help but I'm telling you, person to person the shoes are so much better. Definitely worth the money.

Purchased these as they were recommended for my plantar fasciitis. Wore them to church for a couple of hours and my feet hurt. Was so glad to get them off when I got home! Tried them again a month or two later with the same results. Lent them to my sister who has foot problems and she couldn't wear them either. They might work for others but didn't for us. In addition, they really look like old lady shoes.

They're okay, but VIONIC is NOT ORTHAHEEL - They might have tried to mimic the technology but they MISSED IT!

My wife says they fit perfectly, are comfortable and worth the price. They were delivered on the date expected.
