be Aware that there are TWO Versions, a US 110V and European 230V. When one orders from US, they send automatically the 110V type (unless one makes a comment)!However they were very accomodating when I contacted them and sent me free of Charge to my European address a second Transmitter.Now I can use it all over the world.

It works but not well. When plugged into a 110vac outlet it does send signal but it reads in the panel on multiple breakers adjacent one another. If you run tandem breakers, often called split, twin, or double breakers, it will read on both breakers every time. My assumption is their close proximity to one another. This wouldn't be a problem as you could turn both breakers off. However, if one is running a light and the other a heart machine providing life support, that is a hell of a gamble. Even turning down the sensitivity, I found multiple hits across breakers. So... Yes, it works. But gambling is bad, don't gamble.

The US made products that this attempts to duplicate will work with low voltage to generate a signal. THIS unit requires a full 110v for operation. I had a low voltage (100v due to Utility phase issues) circuit which I needed to trace, this unit will not work. Do not try to trace circuits unless you have full voltage! Does work fine for that purpose!

It worked one time. After that any jack the transmitter was plugged into the receiver would sound off at every single breaker in the panel.Pro: The battery that came with it was good. The adapters that come with it are neat and I may find a use for them someday.Con: Worthless for its intended purpose.

I was very much dissatisfied with the product. When I got the unit I immediately tried to trace a receptacle breaker. The unit identified 6 different breaker as the one I needed to turn off. Returned the unit for a refund. I would not recommend.
