Nice mic solution for Zoom-type calls with mute function -- as long as you provide phantom power
I was looking for a simple, inexpensive table mic that would plug into my audio interface and have a mute or on/off button. This fits the bill. I use it with my Focusrite USB audio interface, and it should work with any audio interface or mixer that supplies phantom power.Setup and operation is simple. Just plug into a mic input of your mixer or audio interface, with phantom power turned on. The toggle button switches between on and off -- with a red light clearly indicating when the unit is on. The mic position is easily adjustable, although I wish the gooseneck portion was a little longer. XLR cables fit securely into this unit -- including the long cable provided. As sound quality goes, it will never be confused with a voiceover-caliber mic, but is perfect for Zoom-type calls. And no pops are heard when the on/off button is pressed. It seems to be a solid, well-made product that should last a long time.

A great mic for zoom use if you already have the right audio interface
I wanted to cover audio for up to 6 people sitting around a dinner table, with others participating remotely. One of these at each end of the table, plugged into a Scarlett 2i2 worked perfectly. I found they they operated just fine from the phantom power off the XLR jacks. The bases are a nice size, with enough weight without being too heavy. The only note I have is that the red band is very red when not lit up, so maybe less obvious than if it had more of a neutral appearance when not lit up.

Good for online meetings
I have been looking for a microphone that has a solid and easy to access on/off button that is easy to operate. During video meetings, if you have several different tabs open it is sometimes difficult to mute/unmute yourself if you are sharing a screen or navigating another resource. I tried a couple of "global" microphone mute hotkey apps, but they weren't really as convenient as I wanted.Though this is listed as a paging microphone, the sound quality is surprisingly good, obviously better than the internal microphones in my 2015 Macbook pro. I have found that it works best of the microphone stand is located off the the side of the computer, with the microphone just to the right or left of where my mouth is pointing. It picks up audio really well, and since all the pops are directed past it, it doesn't pick up any popping or rustling from my speaking. I'm running it through a scarlett solo interface, which supplies it with 48V phantom power. If you don't have phantom power, it requires 2 AA batteries in the base to operate. The base is heavy enough that it won't tip over or move around on a desk as it is used.Again, the main feature is the on/off button. There is a light strip around the head of the microphone that lights up when it is "on" which makes it very obvious when you have the switch on. So far, it is working really well for online meetings, and surprisingly well for video narration.

Nice microphone
This is a great microphone. The only thing is that you have to keep batteries on hand because it requires batteries and will not work with phantom power. We use this for paging in restaurants and the employees always forget to turn the mic off so the batteries can drain if it’s left on. But its a great deal and works terrific.

Bout October 16th, Died December 15th.
I bought this mic for church speakers. Only used during sacrament services on Sunday for an hour. Used for 8 Sundays, 8 hours total. Doesn't work. Changed batteries, mic cords, etc. Maybe the company will make it right. We'll see.

its perfect for events and the like
I recently purchased this Microphone to use for events and meeting etc... and it has exceeded my expectations. This microphone is perfect for my office setup, allowing me to easily make announcements or communicate with colleagues. The audio quality is clear and crisp, ensuring that my messages are heard loud and clear. it also doesn't take up too much space, and the tube can bend making it easier to use.

Great value
I had been trying out various lavalier microphones with phantom power but they all died off in volume unless pressed close to your mouth. This filled the gap very nicely and less than half the price, it has an on/off switch as well which is great. It obviously isn't a clip on mic but it is sturdy and the reception is great and the price is less than half of the last one I purchasedOh and the cord they provide is super long, most of the time you get a pretty short cord , I don't know the length of this one but it is super long for one you get with the mic
