I applied this grass fertilizer with iron because my front lawn had turned yellow (and I’d even received a notice from the HOA about the garden not meeting standards). My landlord warned that if it didn’t recover we might be charged to replace the sod. I used it on the front garden — which wasn’t terrible yet — and the next morning it looked noticeably greener! I applied it three times that week, and each time I saw more improvement. The back garden was the worst — completely yellow — and it recovered in just one week and a half! Remarkable product. Just received it, used it once. Followed directions on label. One exception; watered it in the next morning after sitting on the yard over night. Approximately 8 hrs later, the dried up, sparsely green ,crispy front yard of mine was ready for my mower service to cut it. Now, I’m not talking plush green but no longer the worst looking lawn on the block. Very impressive product.

I have used far more expensive products for my Bermuda lawn, I found this Simple Lawn Solutions with a low nitrogen content is perfect to green my lawn without increasing growth which in the heat of summer is a blessing. Other products cost more yet don't perform better than this one. The gallon bottle provides three treatments on my lawn, roughly 12,500 sq ft (not deducting for flower beds, sidewalks, or the driveway.

If you have crabgrass or weeds take care of the problem first. The iron works well on turf grass but I noticed with weeds it turns them very dark, almost purple. The st augustine it got applied to within hours it shows great results but 48 hours later it almost bring a brown spot fungus. Did use as directed but again would only use on weed free lawns and go light on dosage the first time to test the fungal results.

This is my first time putting iron on my lawn. I applied Simple Lawn Solutions liquid iron with a backpack sprayer at full rate. I woke up the next morning with the darkest and greenest lawn I've ever seen in my life lol. It also contains micronutrients which my soil needed plenty of. I sprayed my lawn 1 month ago, and I've been pushing the limit seeing how dark I can get it before it goes black haha The only con is that this stuff stains anything that isn't grass. If your spraying it with a backpack sprayer, I'd suggest getting a teejet nozzle that produces larger droplets and prevents wind drift. All liquid iron does this, it's not just the Simple Lawn Solutions iron. I would HIGHLY recommend this product!
