These are great timers and this is the third set I have bought. They are seven day timers with 10 timer slots (1 slot includes on and off). You set the time and day(s) for each timer slot independently so this gives you a lot of control.A particularly good feature is that you can set multiple days for each slot which can be any one of the 7 weekdays, every day, odd days, even days and a couple of other combinations. This means you don't have to use 7 timer slots just to turn a light on every day. For switching on lights while you are away, you can have the light come on at different times on alternate days, or weekends etc very easily.This flexibility does make programming not exactly complex but you need to check when you have finished. It is easy to set the on and off in a slot for different days by mistake for example, which will mean switching not happening as expected. Having said that, they are very easy to programme as there is a clear LCD screen, clearly labelled buttons for setting time, day, etc and a built in battery which means you can programme when unplugged and you don't have to get down on your hands and knees to programme it.One small downside is an insanely bright blue LED which comes on when the unit switches on. In a bedroom it can illuminate the room but a piece of electrical tape or similar will dull it down to sensible levels easily. If it is behind a sofa or something, the very bright light might well be detectable even if the LED itself is obscured so that can be handy.

This digital timer with large screen was exactly what I wanted. I knew from past experience of digital timers setting the times would not necessarily be easy and it wasn’t. Having spent considerable time attempting to set up my timers I gave up and emailed the provider. A message came back to video what I was doing as I seemed to be doing the right thing. This I didn’t do but instead asked an engineering friend to set up the timer for me! This he did but it took him several attempts. Now that they working it is ideal and I’m delighted with the result ie my two sets of Christmas tree lights coming on/off when required.

I have an extension at the back of my house which has an electric radiator on the wall. It is an oil free one all singing and dancing. It dances so much I can’t catch it to set the timer one it as it is always dizzy. This solved the problem of the over complicated on that is on the panel.
