Genie authentic G3T-R 3-button Intellicode garage door opener remote with, works only on Genie openers, single pack

Set up was easy worked great on my old garage door from 1999. This is my second replacement but only because my husband broke the last one running it over and I would definitely buy this again.

I have the old style remote for my garage opener and it was an absolute pain. First, the range is iffy, I usually have to press the button 3 or more times back up, pull forward to find that sweet spot where it will open the garage. I'm not kidding, tried replacing the battery, to no avail. That's not even the worse thing, the most annoying issue however, is the rattling this remote makes when you clip it to your sun visor. It's so annoying, I got into the habit of pulling it down and tossing it in the cup holder just to get the rattling to stop. I've even seen YT videos of people disassembling the remote and placing tape against the buttons to stop that annoying rattle. I really didn't want to go to that length, so I started looking for replacements. I was ecstatic when reading the specs revealed this remote was compatible with my opener. It took less than a minute and worked on the first cycle! Not only does this have a nice modern look, bit it doesn't make a sound at all while driving. Buttons are rubbery to the touch and the button press is smooth with no tactile clicking. The star feature is the range, I can literally be 3 or 4 houses down and press the button and my garage immediately opens always on the first press. Great purchase

Getting it connected was very easy, just followed the instructions. Works from down the road, so when I get to the house, I don’t have to wait for the garage door to open. Using multiple for different cars works flawlessly.

This remote was very easy to program with my existing garage door opener. Following the instructions carefully is important, especially keeping the right distance during pairing. At first, it didn’t connect because I was too close to the device, but once I adjusted the distance, it worked perfectly. I’ve been using it for several months, and it has performed flawlessly. A dependable and worthwhile purchase.

I bought this as I was getting tired of using the Genie app to open my garage door all the time. It works alright. Pairing with the Genie garage door was a breeze. Only issue I have with it is that it doesn't really have that long of a range, so I have to be almost up to the driveway before the remote works.

Works great, set up in seconds, buttons don't rattle. Great improvement vs the original ones I had from 2012.
