Normally I wouldn't spend much on a pet blanket since my dogs are very hard on them ( they scratch and dig on them ALL the time) however my 50 pound digging machines have so far not been able to ruin this blanket!!! Here are the other things I love about it: 1: VERY durable. My dogs have scratched away on it as dogs do when they go to lay down, and it does not even look worn out yet, at ALL . 2. When they say waterproof they mean it ! It doesn't look or feel like most waterproof things would, but I can tell you after one of the cats was on this blanket and vomited it was VERY easy to clean up 3. VERY soft, my cats love this thing too , in fact they all take turns now using the dog bed ( that is where i have this one !!) 4. This was originally bought to protect my dog bed from my dogs scratching it/ and potentially saving me from having to try to clean the big bulky dog bed, and it HAS. It might seem a bit pricey but it has saved me so much time.. and probably money in the long run because you don't have to replace this one. OH and for those of you that have to readjust the blanket every 5 minutes because of dogs like mine that kick up the blankets all the time? Suggestion !! You can buy clips that are made for bed sheets - they sort of look like suspender straps, and use them on the blanket to hold them over the dog bed , I use them on mine and even with my dogs heavily digging away and pulling on the blanket it has stayed in place, thankfully I figured this solution out because was going crazy trying to keep it in place. I'm sure there are other solutions as well, but since this is where I wanted the blanket to stay I had to figure out a solution to it being kicked up all the time !

Bought this to put on the floor for our rabbit’s cage area. We have wooden floors, so we needed to put something soft on the floor to protect her feet. Our bunny chews on EVERYTHING! And every blanket we have bought so far, she chews up within a week. So I looked everywhere for a soft chew-proof blanket and decided to give this a try. While it isn’t chew-proof for our little chewer (I honestly think nothing is), I have to say that it has held up way longer than the other cheaper blankets that I bought. This has 2 layers. So while she chews, it takes longer for her to do it to this one because of the double layers. It’s super soft that even my daughter wants it for her own little blanket. It also is easy to vacuum up my bunny’s fur when it sheds all over. Other blankets aren’t as velvety soft. I have bought it 5 times now. Totally recommend! UPDATE: As I mentioned, my bunny chews on everything! And standard blankets typically last only a week before I have to replace them. The first photo shows the blanket brand new on May 25th. The second photo shows it on June 29th, just over a month later. As you can see, she’s chewed it up in several places. But because of the double layer and the sheer durability of the blanket, it has held up so well! And it keeps my bunny’s feet comfy and happy! 😍🐰 The third photo shows the blanket on August 12, two and a half months after I first laid it down. As you can see, she’s chewed it up in other areas, but it’s still holding up with nearly three months of use! So if you’re looking for durability and softness, this is the blanket for you!

This blanket lives up to the information presented in the listing by the seller. No surprise given it is a sold&shipped by Amazon. Could you make one cheaper yourself? perhaps.. if you disregard your actual labor and time spent on it. My dog is a Jack-Whippet... and since that means very short fur, and literally no fur on her tummy and chest... she does get cold and loves loves loves a warm blanket to climb under. And this blanket really does hold in the body heat, so much so that my dog will relax under it for a few minutes and then spread out and lay flat on her side (which for her is the ultimate comfort position when resting) The blanket is deceptively warm... being a mirco-fleece double sided blanket. Yeah.. if seems light and flimsy, but that is actually a plus for dogs because that means it quickly conforms to their body and holds in all their body warmth. I can put my hand on top of the blanket and it remains cool, but slide my hand underneath and there is a toasty warm dog to be found. Workmanship is excellent, particularly the seams around the edges. This blanket actually uses an edge seam AND a second seam about one inch farther in. This keeps the blanket free of obvious "chewing opportunities". That said.. it's a polyester micro fleece... so it will be damaged by chewing if you have a chewer on your hands... but that is true of virtually any blanket to be honest. Happily.. my dog has grown out of chewing on blankets. She may still chew.. but only when in her crate and bored.. and for that.. we only give her 100% cotton towels. Material quality is very plush feeling, and dog hair does not cling to it much if at all. I purchased two of these based on the listing specs and customer reviews, since as a Prime customer I have free returns on this item. They did not disappoint and so I will be keeping them both.

Nice and soft, washed up well (I hung it to partially dry, then tumble dried it to knock out the wrinkles). Looking forward to giving it to my boy for his birthday later this month.

I was on a mission to find a better quality blanket with easier maintenance and longer lasting. This was the right blanket for us! I stopped purchasing the cheap fleece blankets that caught a lot of hairs and ripped easily when the boys used it as tug-of-war. This blanket doesn’t pick up much hair at all and helps reduce the maintenance needed. I can wash the blankets with little to no hairs in my washer! The blanket is soft and comfy and my boys just love snuggling with it! Kind of pricey for the small blanket but due to the ease of maintenance I guess it was worthwhile.

My dog loves their new blanket, feels alot nicer and better made than previous ones I've gotten them. Wish it came in a larger size so I could use myself, maybe my dog will share.

My new puppy loves this blankie on his bed. He always snuggles into it. It's really great quality and nice and thick. Feels really durable and lux. Not sure how it washers yet but I would recommend it.
