It came a handful of hours before expected, the box was well protected (multiple layers) and the speaker is wonderful as it is even better than I expected :) I will definitely consider buying another for stereo pairing. The box is really nice as well. I would say that it was a bargain for £79! I haven’t encountered any distortion yet but I also haven’t used it higher than 50%. It is fully functional and the “JBL Portable” app really adds a lot of customization. It paired immediately with my phone (iOS) and I haven’t encountered any issues with connectivity. It is easy and fun to use and the battery life is better than stated (around 16 hours at 25-30% volume). I love it and I would definitely recommend it for somebody looking for a portable speaker. It is hefty when you first pick it up but after a few hours it feels lighter (I have no clue why this is).Overall, I would definitely recommend it (sorry for no photos or videos, but it is loud and incredible for its size and price) 👍

The JBL Flip 6 has completely exceeded my expectations. For its price, this speaker is an absolute gem and delivers fantastic performance in every way.The sound quality is simply amazing. Great sound. Easy to use. Rock solid Bluetooth connection. Long battery life. Great max volume. The price I paid was a bargain because blue was way cheaper than the others and I didn't care about the colour.You can connect 2 to provide stereo but I have not been able to check it out.

Well I'm not easily pleased and have poured scorn on many an expensive speaker, especially battery-powered ones this small but this is just remarkable. App just plain works too, with easy software updates etc. I bought one to test and was more than happy so proceeded to order a second to test as stereo pair. If it wasn't great it was going straight back. But it is great -one press the button on the speaker and then on the second and it's a stereo pair, simple as that. Switch to AirPods and want to switch back? it's still in the speaker list as a connected stereo pair and when you select it it plays on both straight away - no issues with iOS at all.Sound is shockingly good. It reminds me of the full sized HomePods, somehow balancing low, mids and highs well and filling the room with ease. Bass is its weakness but it's still much much much better than I'd expected. But compared to say the larger HomePod, that's where you see the difference. However, put it in a corner and the bass reflects back much better - positioning is crucial . Make no mistake about it though, if you're bothered by mid-tone muddiness that absolutely plagues cheap and many expensive speakers, this is profoundly crisp and defined. The equaliser feature works great in the app too. I couldn't be more impressed.

I used to have two Bose bluetooth speakers, because I perceived them as the cream of bluetooth speakers. I was wrong. The most irritating fact was how difficult it was to connect my mobile, to the point that after 20-30 attempts I would just give up and read or work in silence. Also, and how that happened remains a mystery, one of the speakers mis-pronounced my name, by adding a letter to it (?!?) that shouldn’t have been there. The voice stating it is trying to connect was irritating and intrusive.None of that applies to the JBL. You press one button. It switches on. A “ta-da-da” sort of muted sound lets you know that. There is no useless spoken message. A few seconds later another similar sound tells you your device is connected. All you need to do then is press “play”. It has never failed a connection; adding a device is straightforward and easy, with a minimum if steps.Sound quality is excellent, with a sense of space and strength which seem magic for such a compact device. Even at low volume it never sounds tinny or puny. You can turn the sound up or down either from your device or using buttons on the speaker. The bass is reach and creamy, but detail is rendered accurately and at all volume levels.Battery life seems endless. A linear white light indicates the battery status. I have never got even close to draining it, even after days of usage. It recharges fast thru the supplied usb cable. It is sturdy, well built and has a nice cylinder shape that sits well in your hand.In summary, this is all I was hoping it to be; I have gifted one to my brother and I have bought a second one (a smaller model) from JBL, so pleased with it I’ve been. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I genuinely can’t come up with any criticism.

For a smallish Bluetooth speaker this wee thing can fairly chuck out the music that's crisp and clear. Good value for money and excellent battery life. Great for using as a speaker if watching on a tablet etc too.
