Excellent book to understand how internet works through the 5 layers of network model. The title should be changed to "Computer Networking and the Internet" so that people searching for a comprehensive book on internet don't miss this book.However, please note this book does not cover the details of the "Physical Layer", for which you have to read some other book. "Data Communications and Networking with TCP/IP Protocol Suite" by Behrouz A Forouzan 6th Edition is a very good book.The former book is a "Top Down" approach, while the latter is "Bottom Up" approach.

The way the concepts are explained in this book is really great. It is visible that both the authors want the reader to understand the concepts by the way the book is written.

Very good book of introductory nature in networking.

Fantastic book to delve from start into computer netoworking and the price is cheap too . Recommended if you have no knowledge about networking and wants a good introduction + more depth.

Each page is filled with very good information, the way they wrote it makes us to study more and more about networks and stuff , highly recommend for anyone who wants get into IT and of course for all tech nerds.

Best book for understanding networking concept

The best

I got this book on 11th of May 2024, the content of the book is very good, however the print quality is very poor. And some pages are even teared perhaps in the process of printing.My request from Amazon is that, please carefully check the book for teared pages you're delivering. I rely on Amazon to buy books, so I would expect consistent quality of delivery. Please take this feedback very seriously.
