I was skeptical, but this was worth it!
I had some post acne scarring on my chest that would not fade and would not go away. I also have a dark deep complexion. They had been there for almost a year. I read mixed review but decided to get the small size just to try, but my expectations were kinda low. It did take a couple weeks for the results to become noticeable but it has truly faded these stubborn marks! They're not completely gone but i'd give it another month before my skin is back to normal. I have really sensitive skin so I was really worried this would make it worse than it was but I've had no issues. No dryness, no further breakouts, nothing! The smell is there and noticeable but I swear you'll get over it. Would reccomend

Smells insane, but greatly effective at fading acne scars
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Smells absolutely terrible if its your first time using but the smell "fades" after a while lol. You get quite used to it but if you have a sensitive nose id suggest to hold your breath while applying LOL. Besides the smell, this stuff is like holy grail in a tube. I dont use it everyday but i do rotate it on dif days of the week for my nightly routine. I use it 2-3 times on alternating days a week and paired along with my skin care routine it has extensively reduced my acne scars. I also feel like my skin tone has evened out significantly (i have some trouble redness that i was tryna get rid of). I get past the smell for long lasting result!

Amazing Product. Old Formula.
I love this product! It really is a wonder at fading my acne spots on my back. This formula is the old one though--which means it'll smell like sulfur. The new formula doesn't have that. I assume this has sat in the warehouse for a while so just know that.

Be patient—this is the only product that truly worked for me.
I started using Topicals Faded Brightening & Clearing Serum in January 2025, and now, in July, I can confidently say it changed my skin—and my confidence—for the better.Over the winter, I was battling the worst cystic acne of my life. My jawline and temples were constantly inflamed, and the deep, red scars left behind made me feel hopeless. I would avoid mirrors, photos, and often wanted to cry when I saw my reflection. Makeup barely covered the damage, and I felt embarrassed going out without it.I started slowly—once a week—and now I use this serum every other day, alternating with The Ordinary’s azelaic acid. I keep my skincare routine minimal: just water to wash my face (or a gentle cleanser if I’ve been gardening or sweating). That’s it.When I first received the small bottle, I thought it was overpriced for the size. But seven months later, I’m still finishing up that same bottle—and just ordered a second one. A little goes a long way. I've also seen reviews saying it doesn’t work. To those people: please be patient. I didn’t see dramatic results overnight either. But slowly, steadily, my scars faded, my breakouts became less frequent, and my skin tone started to even out. It’s not magic—but it’s close. I still have acne-prone skin, but it’s no longer a source of daily sadness. I can look in the mirror and smile again, which I truly didn’t think would be possible when I first started using this in January. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend giving it time. This serum gave me back my confidence—and that’s worth every penny. Before and after photos attached—finding “befores” was hard because I avoided the camera for months.

My experience: 69 Y.O. W.M.
TLDR versionAfter 5 weeks daily AM useProsReduced appearance of age spots slightly. Very slightly.First couple days of use caused slight irrititation/reddening but after that no irritation.ConsPRICEYSlightly funky smell, but dissipates in less than an hour. Not a deal breaker.Leaves skin feeling greasy for hoursSometimes caused pimples to occur, the kind you might get when eating too much chocolate. Not sure this product caused it but I *think* it did.My final verdict: I wouldn't buy it again at half the price.Loquacious versionI have lived in sunny hot places most of my life. I never used sunscreen regularly until about a year ago. Not surprisngly I have a few age spots/sun spots on my face, arms and back of my hands. I want to get rid of them so I got expert advice (Thank You Drs. Dray, Shah, and Maxfield) and began a program that includes daily sunscreen use and active topicals including tretinoin and hydroquinone and other things. I have been using this program for 10 months. In this 10 months I have experienced the spots diminish in size and darkness, very very slowly. Painfully slowly. Did the daily use of sunscreen accomplish this? The active topicals? I don't know. I wondered if an over the counter product with a good reputation like FADED might give better results so I bought one large tube, stopped using hydroquinone, and used Faded every day till the tube was empty. That turned out to be five weeks. The result was that my spots continued fade away very very slowly, noticeably more slowly than when I was using hydroquinone . And FADED is rather stinky and kept my skin feeling greasy for hours whenever used. And I got occaisional minor pimple breakouts while using that *I think* was caused by FADED. So the FADED was all used up two and a half weeks ago. I resumed using hydroquinone daily when the FADED was gone, and my my spots continue to fade but noticeably faster. So my experience validates what my dermatoligist advisors have said, that hydroquinone is the gold standard for removing age spots/sun spots. This was my experience. Your experience may, probably will, differ.
