Lightweight, Roomy and Well Made
While I would not ever consider checking this bag as luggage, if you need a roomy lightweight case for the personal transport of a ton of gear, this bag is ideal. The Velcro straps provide a means to subdivide the case, or help secure the contents. The top zipper is a bit finicky wanting to stick, but does work. The end zipper is very convenient too if you remember to pack the gear to take advantage of it. When the bag is empty, it can be collapsed down to a relatively small size for storage. The photos are my own visual reference as to how to pack all my gear, but do show just how much it will hold.

Decent bag for modest price. Pluses and Minuses...
Using this bag to lug around our four lighter weight light stands and lightbulb/softbox assembly units for Annnd...Action! Photo Booth, Granada Hills, CA. This bag is really roomy - we could fit more stuff in it. Made fairly well. I wouldn't expect it to last forever, but with careful use, it seems it will go awhile. Pluses: lightweight. two different straps for easy carry. roomy. decent weight canvas. decent padding. lots of room to fit many stands. Minuses: no double stitching - except on top of zip cover. "compartment" shown in photos is actually three velcro insert things which have strong velcro, but don't really fit in place very well. (i opted to put them all in the same place to provide some space between metal stands and glass bulbs. kinda works. (see the pics how they 'fall' on themselves. protecting the lightbulbs - sorta). Shoulder strap not removable and not really sure how much more stuff we could put in there before either style straps are strained with carry weight. There is a nice metal clasp/connector thingee on there, but not much good if the straps they are connected to are not up to par. Perhaps bag could be slightly more proportionate with this idea in mind - or stronger straps? Will update when we begin to see the wear and tear really starts happening. Today is July 11, 2017. We'll let ya know...

It's Lasted about 6 years
I got the Fovitec light bag in 2016. It's now June 2022 and the bag is still going. The Strap handle did tear off of the side, and that's why its getting replaced, but the bag still works fine. just with a hole in it. I would purchase it again but I need something with wheels as it got pretty heavy. It fit a manfrotto tripod, manfrotto video mono pod and 3 light stands and could still fit more. Never doubted its sturdiness.

The velcro dividers are a good idea; however there are 2 velco strips in ...
Decent, but not without a few issues.1st, this bag smells. It is as if it is being stored in a smoke filled room. I've left it air out and still smells. The velcro dividers are a good idea; however there are 2 velco strips in the interior of the bag. They both run along the length with one at the top and one in the middle. There isn't a strip at the bottom. The dividers are flimsy so they won't be stiff enough to hold anything from sliding under the divider. If you don't need the dividers then it's likely a non issue, but I was planning to use this for small tripods and speedlites and the dividers to deperate them; don't think that is going to work though.Build quality seems decent, zippers seem decent; but I've been careful since I've read they aren't very strong. Not sure if I'm keepin this bag yet. The smell and dividers are a real problem for me.

Cheaply made for the price
I would have given it a more only because the bag itself is roomy and would be great... however after using it once the zipper slider broke on the main part where it zips to keep everything inside, so it does not zip shut on one side. Its a really cheap zipper, which for 80 bucks seems silly to cut a corner on. Having a photo/video bag in the field that shuts proper is kind of essential, this will just look unprofessional if I can't figure out how to fix it- making it almost worthless.

After opening the package and inspecting the bag it seemed really good (construction and it looked great)
I am a cinematographer and carry lots of equipment. I bought this bag for the purpose of making things easier for me. The package arrived on Friday May 22nd, which by the way I had to pay extra to have it delivered on time. After opening the package and inspecting the bag it seemed really good (construction and it looked great). I used it for the first time on Saturday May 23rd. Everything was going great until I was packing to get to my second locations. The zipper snapped... I was expecting the bag to last a few months longer. Very dissapointed.

Great value
Perfect for holding lighting socket heads. Will probably buy another as my collection of lighting grows. While it's true that the dividers are not the size of the entire height of the bag, I do not see how or why this will be an issue. There are 2 velcro strips running across the entire length of the bag so you can position the dividers at the bottom or top of the bag if you want. Great value and quality. Exactly what I've come to expect from StudioPRO and Fovitec.

Well Made Sturdy Bag
This is a very sturdy light stand bag. It's on the large side whcih is good if you have a lot of gear. Currently I am using it to transport four lightstands, two boom arms, five softboxes and misc. adapters. Everything fits nicely inside its heavy duty zippers. My only complaint, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that the included strap is flimsy and the handles could be made of a better material and should have been padded. Otherwise, this is a great option for carrying 36" lighting gear.

Half the price of other bags but just as good.
I was looking for a bag to store light stands in and looked at a few roller bags which were twice the price of this. The studio pro is cheap, but it’s certainly not poor quality. In fact, it’s tremendous quality. I have regularly put 3 light stands, lights, two tripods, and batteries in this bag, and it has handled them brilliantly. The zip has been somewhat abused but still works perfectly. The bag is strong and sturdy and I’m sure will last me a long long time.

Great for trasporting a telescope
After looking at the Celestron cases, which cost a fortune (more than the telescope itself), I decided to look at photographic equipment carriers as an alternative. This is perfect for the Celestron Nexstar 130. Fits the scope well. Space to spare for lens boxes and dividers allow you to separate up the case. Not big enough to get the tripod in the same case, but have found you can carry both by putting the tripod on top of the bag and lifting by the handles - however, a you have the same issue with a celestron case, and this is well made, robust, and less than a tenth of the price

Holds a lot
Holds my backdrop stand, 2 soft boxes and stands, along with camera, tripod and reflector. Basically everything fits in. Looks sturdy but I've knocked a star off as the stitching is ripping in places already and I haven't taken it anywhere yet.

Sturdiness for strobe lighting
Excellent product but I'll put in thin plywood on each side to make it more sturdier - pleased with this bag
