Has definitely helped my finger from locking up.

Do not go for the cheaper product. The velcro gives out.

Chose this version of MCP Splint to support and stabilize the Metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint, which is the knuckle joint where the finger meets the hand.The aluminum insert is quite stable and effectively supports the MCP of my middle finger.The splint is easy to use and adjust.The Velcro is decent but could be stronger and a bit longer on the 'hook' side since the end easily detaches when in place.Easy to wash and dries quickly.Worth the cost for the functionality.Mostly comfortable except when bottom edge of band rubs against the interdigit space between the fingers. I just adjust the band a lil tighter to not slip into this space.

Okay, so it works...but it's just not as comfortable or convenient as other options. I got oval-8 splints and I can wear them 24/7 without even realizing they are there.

Works great. Wish I'd have gotten it sooner. I waited until my trigger finger got "locked" in my sleep several times. Awaiting doctor appt for injections. DON'T WAIT.....maybe it will prevent your trigger finger from getting worse.

I got this for trigger finger on my pinky. It doesn't stay in place (slides all around) and the velcro is so weak that any movement pops it open. It's actually too big on my pinky.I'd call this one an utter fail.

I have 5 trigger fingers, one so bad, it requires me to wear while sleeping and it works great, no more waking up with finger stuck in pain. works on all fingers except thumb.

I have the same problem as reviewed above. I have a small hand so the fit was good. At first it really helped my finger. The problem I have is the Velcro. I bought a different brand on my first tigger finger and the Velcro worked fine. After my surgery I guess I threw it away and I cannot remember the brand it was.
