Front Bumper Fit for 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Jeep Wrangler Gladiator JT, Heavy Steel Bumper W/Winch Plate (W/O Ends and W/Fog Lights)

No instructions provided, no instructions available upon request. The winch mounting plate does not have any rear support brackets. There are no mounting holes in the rear of the mounting plate. The lack of support on the rear of the winch mounting plate caused the plate to flex (bend) up while I was tensioning the winch rope. To be clear, I was only placing the initial tension on the winch rope, I was not winching the Jeep. The plate flexed up a half inch (1/2") causing the winch to make contact with the Rubicon steel bumper. I disassembled everything, after 4 hours to install, I had to fabricate rear brackets to attach to the rear of the mounting plate (drill holes and buy nuts and bolts) down to the Jeep Gladiator frame. If you plan to install a winch and you do not own a fabrication shop full of tools and equipment, buy the Mopar OEM bumper and winch mounting plate. There is no wiring harness provided, and no directions for the LED lights. Other facts - winch mounting plate has already started rusting, 3/16" thick not 1/4", I had to use a grinder to modify the bottom of the bumper to install my factory Rubicon steel front skid-plate. The coating looks good but is so thin the slightest touch, sitting tools and bolts on the bumper caused nicks in the coating. When I have to take the bumper off again, I will prep and recoat with a high quality rubberized coating. After a ton of fabrication and extra work - The bumper looks good and the winch mounting plate is rock solid.

This bumper came with no instructions; however, it was pretty easy to figure out. It is a high quality steel product! I changed the tow hooks over to my orange hooks from my Mojave. The hooks interchanged with no issues. I used the wiring harness from my original plastic bumper. I actually used the original fog lights as well so they would just plug right in to the harness. I did have to drill out the holes on the original fog lights, but they fit right on with the same 4 bolt pattern. This took me about 2 hours from start to finish, and I’m not a mechanic. I recommend this bumper for anyone looking to get a cheaper alternative to the mopar steel bumper. I would add that you will need a Rubicon style skid plate if you are putting this bumper on a Mojave.

The bumper as a whole is good. The issues i have are with the tow hooks and the LED bulbs. The LED bulbs do not fit the factory harness and it does not come with a harness. You have to make your own harness. I opted to take the factory harness and LEDs from the stock bumper. I wasted money on getting it with LEDs. The tow hooks are not rubicon red they are more of an orange. I also replaced the tow hooks with the ones from my stock bumper. The bumper came packaged pretty well. good value if you don't live in the rust belt. First winter and lots of rust primarily where there are any bolt/screws or holes.

EDIT: the winch plate is useless/dangerous. I installed a winch and went to pretension the winchline. As soon as I started putting tension on the line, the plate deflected / flexed quite a bit to the point where the winch was touchig the back side of the bumper. I stopped pretensioning the line and ordered a better winch plate. If you ever plan to use your winch, this plate will likely self destruct and could damage the winch and bumper in the process.This winch plate should be eliminated from the bundle or significantly improve the design.Overall, the failed winch plate makes the value for money much less attractive and I removed another star because if this. I'd recommend searching for a similar bumper that does not have the winch plate included and buying a separate winch plate.Initial Review:I took a risk on this bumper and I feel like it paid off well.1. Fit and finish is better than expected. I expected it to be a bit sub par, but was surprised especuially with the quality of the coating. not sure on the long term durability, but looks great so far.2. Vehicle fitment is excellent, no issues installing.3. The winch plate appears to be 3/16" steel - not the thickest, but it does have reinforcing ribs welded onto the botton to provide more stiffness. I will run this winch plate till it is an issue or start to use my winch heavily.4. The fog lights are NOT plug and play - the included connectors are not compatible with the factory wiring harness. This is the reason for 4 stars not 5. The manufacturer should have sourced and used the connectors compatible with the factory harness. HOWEVER, there are adaptors that quickly snap in and make wiring super simple. Search: Metra Jeep - Adapter Harness for Fog Lights - Plug-N-Play - 2 Pack, Fog Lights (JP-JWFLAH).5. The plastic bezels are easy to damage when installing, and we will see how fade resistant they are.

Looks like the factory bumper. No Instructions and a mechanical mind will be needed to piece together.

hardest thing to do is to figure out how to install- have deep scratches in bull bar and underneath bumper.With the complications of install and lack of instructions this bumper should be 100.00 less in cost.
