These completely changed my home/home office networking situation. We have a fairly large house with vaulted ceilings and my home offices location makes it a challenge even with the most modern mesh routers available. I purchased a few of these and spread them to the corners of the house and I instantly had phenomenal wifi everywhere. I really wish I had purchased these a year ago.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great for RV campsites. We’ve tried several extenders. They are all hit and miss. However, this one is strong and turned our very spotty service at our campsite into a strong wifi signal that allows us to stream TV and work “from home” with no interruptions.

I can now have my laptop wired up on ethernet in my room for stable pcvr connection using virtual desktop instead of having to move it every time to the room with our router. Also I can now get a really good connection in my front lawn because of the placement

We have a TP Link router that is compatible. Setting up the extender was not as easy as I would have liked. Method 1 that simply involves pressing a button on the router and on the extender didn’t work. Using the Tether app has never worked with the router so that didn’t work. 3rd option sent me to a website but that was in German. Called technical support and they were excellent. Sent me to final option that involved a numeric website. Everything hooked right up. Success! Then relocated to the upstairs and all appeared good but then one by one each of our devices started to disconnect from Wi-Fi. When we tried to reconnect we could not. Ended up going back to our Spectrum router only. Sending back. Sad face. May have nothing to do with the extender but the TP Link router worked fine before we added the extender.

I needed this to get the wifi signal to my ring cameras. This was very easy to set up in the app and it seems to be working well so far. This was able to sync with my router from pretty far away and I was impressed.I will update my review if things change, but if this extender lasts for 2 years before needing replacement, then I would be more than happy.

Purchased to provide coverage for a large multi-room single level community clubhouse. It does an excellent job acting as a wifi extender providing wifi at 2.4 and 5.0 ghz with a range easily of 50-70 yards through concrete and wood stud walls. The signal is strong and transmission rate is excellent. The manufacturer states it can be used as a wifi mesh "node" but I did not confirm due to a router setting issue on our end. It is easily set up with the free Tether app on my phone with clear, precise instructions. As for design, it blends in well and its indicator lights are clear and distinct. We are very happy with its performance and build.

Great technology. I am decluttering my home and bought this to replace a pair of Powerline adapters I purchased about 7 years ago. Powerline was a better choice back then because, compared to today, network technology was only so-so. Powerline adapters were faster unless I wanted to spend a lot more money on better wifi tech. I got about 130 mbps reliably.Advance to today. I purchased an Amazon Return for a savings. It configured quickly and installed perfectly. I get about 500 mbps through it.

Golf Wi-Fi extender I will give it that, it connects our cameras to areas that the Wi-Fi router itself couldn't reach. HOWEVER if you have smart home devices added to the extender DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE WHEN IT PROMPTS YOU THROUGH THE APP. We learned this the hard way and once we updated the firmware all the smart home devices disconnected, we had to factory reset all the devices and reconnect them. Even worse, the extender just wouldn't work anymore! I had to also Factory reset the WiFi extender!!! I will never be updating the firmware again on this thing.
