Not a chance of a rupture
I chose this over the clear plastic vinyl tubing for a couple reasons it's brass and will not melt like the plastic also less likely to rupture under year's of use

Perfect Fit, Sufficient Length (Barely).
Just the right length - routing it from rear oil pressure port on my 454, to the gauge sitting center and below the dash in my K30. Quality fromt he packaging to all the parts provided. Line formed well. No leaks from the fittings to the tube itself. Recommend this tube over the nylon one that usually comes with all the mechanical oil pressure gauges.

Good and effective for the cost, install can leave vibrations.
Used this line to replace the plastic tube that came with my oil pressure gauge so I can have my vehicle on the track. I have noticed a sizable buzzing now coming from my gauge after using this. after some research I found that this is somewhat common since it provides a direct acoustical path that the plastic tubing did not provide. Make sure to put service loops in in both the engine compartment and the cab if your routing the gauge through the fire wall. This was a low cost option that was better than the poly tube that would meet track regulations. I am working on ordering parts and running stainless steel braided lines to remove this buzzing. Granted also being on full polyurethane bushings and aggressive built motor does not help either.

used this on a Auto Meter oil pressure gauge for a tractor.I passed the pipe through a 1 foot rubber hose.flared each end then made 3 ring coils at each end of the pipe to cut even more on the vibration and tie wrapped. All went well works fine.

I bought this to use on an oil pressure gauge on a small diesel tractor. The problem I had was that the engine vibrates, especially at idle, putting stress on the tubing. Even though I left a coil of copper tubing between the engine and the frame, to try to absorb some of the vibration, the tubing would break off at the fitting on the engine, spraying oil everywhere. I ended up buying fuel injector hose at a auto supply store and just clamping it on, at the engine end, using a barb fitting. At the gauge, because of lack of space, I just clamped it on the threads. This method has given me no problems. If there was no or minimal vibration I am sure it would have worked well.

Item arrived on time and as described. We used this instead of the cheap plastic tubing that the gauges come with. This was installed on my sons Ranger that we supercharged
