Honey-Can-Do SFT-01166 Soft Storage Chest, Black Folding Car Trunk Organizer

This is an excellent trunk organizer! It allows me to keep all sorts of supplies in my trunk but still have it looking neat and tidy. I also like the fact that it helps keep things upright, like bags of groceries. It also allows me to better utilize the space in my trunk and find things much faster than when they were all jumbled together. It folds easily and is quite compact when not full. It’s sturdier than I expected. The Velcro on the bottom keeps it in place. The mesh pockets are really handy for smaller items like chargers or jumper cables.

I recognized the brand name on this, and that was the deciding factor on our purchase. I'm really pleased with the quality of the workmanship. It has some weight (you want a certain amount so it's not floppy), but not too much. It folds easily so it fits in the back of our small SUV, with easy access. The black color looks good in the cargo area, and this will keep things from sliding around for sure.

I had an older soft chest that looked just like this for groceries in the back of my car that I gave to my sister, so I bought this one to replace it. It's a great size and will fit in the back of most hatchbacks (my car is a subcompact and this fits in the back with plenty of room to spare). Each square can hold two gallons of milk or a few shopping bags. I use mine for groceries since I live in a hilly area and groceries tend to roll around in the back of my car; one messy milk accident was enough for me to vow to never just set bags in the back of my car again! The front pockets I use to hold small tools or maps I want to keep in my car. Please be aware that this is intended for HOLDING groceries or storing car tools/accessories - if you are using it to store items heavier than a gallon of milk, do NOT use the chest to CARRY items around or the bottom will rip. I know the handles are a bit deceiving in that area. If you are just carrying around paper towels or other lightweight items, you will be fine. I am removing one star because this is the only soft storage chest I've ever owned that did not come with rigid square pieces on either side of the middle insert that fold down to cover the bottom of the chest upon opening (to keep the chest from collapsing in on itself when empty). Not only does this mean that the chest is always in a state of half-collapse when not filled, it also means you can't carry items around in it (as I stated above) as I could with my older soft chest.

I bought this for my mom as she saw I had one in the trunk of my car. I purchased this one (not the same as mine) because it looked easy and the reviews were great. I was right. It was so easy to put together because it didn’t require much to do. My mom had a GMC SUV and it fits perfectly in the trunk without taking up too much space. My parents are only getting older and this helps put away groceries or the emergency kit in case they Experience an emergency while being on the road. We travel far distances a lot, so this helps us out things in the back without having our stuff rolling around in the back. Definitely recommend for the price, quality and purpose of its use.

This thing is pretty big and holds a ton of stuff that I have to carry around in my trunk: Gas can, tools, jumper cables, flashlights, etc. My new Accord has a big trunk, but there is no place to store all the little stuff that I have to carry around just in case I need it. This has pretty rigid sides and will stand upright without flopping over. If I need to use the whole trunk, then I can pick the whole thing up by the handles and remove it with all the stuff in it. I wouldn't want to carry it around all the time, it's not made for that, but to occasionally remove it from the trunk along with the contents it is not hard to lift it out. I like the mesh pockets on the front for putting small items that I might need to grab quickly. It was just what I was looking for right after I bought the car and realized Honda forgot to include any little cubbyholes to put stuff. Without it, everything was just sliding around in the trunk all over the place. You'll like it.

Very roomy, strong outer pockets. Stays put in cargo space. Only downfall is that the interior divider fabric is thin papery fabric and it ripped on the very first use.

Cleaned up all the random things rolling around in my trunk into its bins. Honestly did not expect much from a trunk organizer at this price point but I am genuinely surprised at the quality, size, and how easy it was to set up/put away. I have at least 20Kg of stuff in the squares and it doesn't budge in my trunk at all with the velcro feet at the corners (great for cars with fabric trucks, not so much on metal or plastics). It also holds more a lot more than i assumed it could (4L washer fluid, 2 car amps about 1.5feet wide, 50 piece socket set, car paint canisters x2, 2 buckets for liquids, car soap, tire iron, sponges, towels) with room to spare still! I've used it pretty much constantly every day putting things in and taking them out of the organizer and it still looks like new.

This SFT-01166 Folding organizer is great. Seems sturdy. Stores 2 to 3 windshield washer jugs in just one of the partitions! Also, has my grocery bags and Lysol can among other things. Always stays in the boot of my car. So far hasn't moved around an inch from where I had placed it. I have never used it as a bag or to transport anything out of the car with it, so not sure how sturdy the bottom is. It is also my first organizer. Has a partition in the middle. Dimensions as advertised. Seems to be made well. When empty will fold down flat. (few inches thick).
