Yes, yes, yes… it is stated that this is the “storage solution” and doesn’t include a core set; however, in the excitement of seeing this on sale I didn’t read the fine print and was deeply disappointed to discover that there was no core set.This storage solution is ABSOLUTELY necessary if you buy all expansions. Please note: if you sleeve your cards, and I hope you do, this box ends up weighing >15 lbs!Pros:- This is, as stated, the storage solution. Before buying SmashUp I had no more room for board games. One large box found room where 15+ boxes did not.- This is laid out thoughtfully and includes spacers- The artwork on the box is nice- The Geek faction is POWERFUL!!!!! You can only get it by buying the storage solutionCons:- This is a MASSIVE box. If you have only the core set don’t buy this yet. Once you collect several expansions, this becomes necessary!- The box isn’t of the highest construction value and feels a bit flimsy in places- If you buy this, the empty rows will guilt you into buying more expansions so it doesn’t feel empty. =-) Financially this is a con, but if you love the game, it’s a pro! =-)If you own or plan to own SmashUp and expansions, this is truly a MUST HAVE!

I play with a small group of friends. We've played enough that we just like trying different types of decks. This box is huge. As in can fit the current decks and a lot more to come (over double what's available now). It's almost half a cubic foot, and has two levels internally - one for the cards, and the second for a lot of the extras (duplicates from some of the sets). It also includes separators for the decks up to its release (the sets released after, they have their own separators for this box). The original set box is plenty for casual play. The "All-Star" set is a nice touch, too. The book has some good clarifications, too. Oh, and it's heavier empty than you'd expect (well made).This is for completists and collectors. In the end, it's just a box, but a well considered one.Weaknesses: Based on what's being released next year, it could do with more room for tokens. I recommend putting dice in it, too (or download a dice app with die size options).

This is the final piece to my collection and fits all the cards so nicely. I love this game so much! Literally the most fun deck building game and it isn’t pay to win. There is a learning curve, but the cards are durable and the game is a blast.

My boyfriend is such a huge Smash Up fan and that's all he ever really talked about when I told him I've never heard nor played the game. He had the Big Geeky box with almost every expansion minus 3. The box was so old and has seen better days, so I thought this would be the perfect gift. The Bigger Geekier box is definitely much heavier especially with all the cards inside it, so expect that when receiving it. The columns are much longer but narrow, fits snug for those who have card sleeves on. Foam cubes are included and smaller than the ones that come with the Big Geeky box. If you're a neat freak like me and like to keep things organized, the token organizer is amazing if you want to put the token in order by expansions.Overall, I would recommend this to any Smash Up player who has all the expansions.

I’ll start with what’s good:The comprehensive (for now) rulebook is fantastic. Having a new storage column is good since these expansions show no sign of slowing down. The Geek deck is as wildly unbalanced as it was last time around, but the All-Stars are both funny and surprisingly effective. The extra layer for VP/power counters is unexpectedly useful.The bad:This box CANNOT be transported (conveniently). The problem is actually the height due to the VP layer. Because of how tall this box is, I had to put it in a duffel bag just to get it on a plane because it doesn’t fit in a standard suitcase. And for short distances, you have to carry it by hand because no backpack can contain this behemoth. That doesn’t sound bad, but there are so many expansions at this point that this box gets extremely heavy.

Big, Strong, Very tight Lid. Very solidly made, separators are very nice - I had purchased some Smash-up add-on decks that did not have separators included so they were nice to get. 8 Duplicates - no big deal. I have 41 decks of 20 cards each plus base cards. There's room in this box for probably 60 more decks of 20 - probably more. Only negative is the plastic token holder - pretty flimsy plastic!!

The box is big and beautiful with plenty of space for all current sets and room for many future expansions. The compartments for the VP tokens feels a little cheap, but it’s a convenient way to store them. Overall I like this box and it’s plenty of space for all current expansions even if you have them all sleeved.The first box I received was damaged, but I was able to get it replaced.

I don't know what or why these people are complaining, but this box is awesome! Provides a top tray that containes a spot to organize VP tokens. In addition, that top tray has an empty spot for extra stuff. Before buying all of the expansions, we used it to store the extra dividers, but we also have the core bases there, because the bigger geekier box provides the same bases, but with bigger font. I saw another customer complaining about how difficult it is to open the box -_- really? We have no issues opening the box. It must be operator error. Under the top tray provides a huge space for ALL factions, plus some foam cushions to keep everything nice and pristine. Love this box and smash up and can't wait for the Marvel and Goblin expansions to release ;).
