Jaws are not ground parallel
I have spent more time trying to make this usable than should be allowed. Save yourself a huge headache and don’t buy it.

Decent chuck for the price.
Really happy with the quality of this chuck for the price paid. Needs some cleaning and deburr work but other than that seems good. Smooth scrolling of the jaws and was able to set it up and got less than 0.001tir. As little as this will get used should last a long time with proper maintenance.

( but its excellent
Had to make a little modification to true this up to 1 thou. In all fairness it could be the condition on my old logan lathe. Had to elongate the mounting holes :( but its excellent now

Better than expected
Put one with a 2-1/4x8 tpi back plate on a Sheldon 10x36. Back plate required boring out the hub to fit the spindle boss and trueing up the mating faces-take you time and do it right. Skinned a 1-1/4" piece of CRS chucked it up and measured a 1.5 thou runout. Ditto 3-1/2" but with 2-1/2 thou. Well done CME
