Good protector
For this for my middle schooler who started learning tenor saxophone. I like that he can keep track of which reeds he is working on and which reeds haven't been used yet. It keeps them protected and fits in his case. It's easy to use. I'm not sure how well it will hold up to my rough and tumble middle schooler but time will tell.

Nice case, but has no ventilation.
This is a decent reed case, but since it has no ventilation, your reeds will quickly develop mold. You will have to modify the case by carefully drilling a few holes in it.

Alto sax reeds fit perfectly?
My daughter was keeping her reeds in the cardboard box they come in. I surprised her with this reed holder. She loves it. It has a button for easy opening. Sleek compact case. It has different slots so she can have different size reeds or all the same size. Now she doesn't have to worry about them bring broken in her case.

Great product for the money!
Like some I don't believe in spending a fortune on a reed case. I spent $14.99 for this case and love the quality for the money. The inner surface for placing the reeds against is as smooth as glass(something I was hoping for but not expecting with the price, and from the pics of the inside you cant really tell). The ability to have 10 reeds in one case leaves more room for rotation as I condition each reed, while also consolidating the lot of them. This ability may not matter to some, if it doesn't... get a cheaper case! One review described the case as indestructible.. don't believe it. This case is made of cast plastics, and a little bit of metal hinging. It will break! Having said that, as long as you are not throwing the thing around all the time and keep it in your instrument case for transport, I really don't foresee this item ever failing. I am HIGHLY pleased with this product and would strongly recommend to any saxophonist that takes care in conditioning a small variety of reeds as they practice and perform.

Works great, but hinges break!
This case has great capacity and keeps my sax reeds pressed flat on a smooth plastic surface. It's lightweight, and the reeds breathe just fine. The only con this case has is its fragility. It's made of rigid, thin-walled plastic that is definitely not impact resistant. The hinges are intrinsic molded loops that are solid body to the case, and a tiny metal pin through them holds the top and bottom pieces together. I teach a lot of kids, and they are prone to breaking them at the hinges, and there's no way to rig a fix, other than to rubber band it together, and keep in mind the interior panel that holds all of the reeds is also held in by this hinge pin. I also think that it's overpriced for what it is, with this big weakness. But for an adult or older student who doesn't handle their horn case like a wrecking ball, it's a good enough reed case

Very Good, lasted me 4 years
Lasted me 4 years of heavy daily use before one of the hinges broke from me tossing it. I'm ordering another to replace it. I'm very picky about reeds so being able to hold 10 is amazing. It can hold any reed tenor size or below perfectly, the only downside it has that the daddario counterpart doesn't is that it can't hold bari reeds. It also fit absolutely perfectly into the small storage area of my BAM tenor cabine case (so well it could be in a satisfied compilation yt video).
