Sharpener is pretty good. I'm taking off one star because it seems to eat up a lot of the pencil in just one or two turns.

Greatest little sharpener ever. Not just for makeup sticks but pencils as well. Love it and the job it does!

This elf sharpener has sharp blades which do a phenomenal job of creating a nice point, however the plastic frame isn’t very durable. It cracked early on, so now that the gap between the frame and blade is wider (compare black elf sharpener vs yellow one which is still intact), the pencils can get misaligned. My pencils are now breaking at a higher frequency.
