Delicious and packed very well by distributor.
Most impressive part about the purchase was how well the distributor packed the product. Bought a multi-can quantity. Obviously packed by someone other than amazon. It took time and effort to pack it so well. To protect the contents from damage. Time and effort costs money! They put quality ahead of making money. That matters. The product comes in cans. Cannot tell you how many cans of other products with easy open tops I have had to discard from others because they were not packed well.It was such a delight opening the box and seeing such care! Restores your faith in humanity! 🙏🏼Coco Lopez is the premium Pina Colada cream of coconut manufacturer. Had already used the product so knew it was delicious! Plan on making cupcakes with it too. It is so flavorful.Price was similar to that of our local market. But our local market does not always have it. So ordered a larger quantity.Expiration date was late next year. So good to go.Note: cream of coconut fat separates from the liquid. Floating on top. It is quite normal. Milk would do it if they didn’t put additives in it. Who wants more additives? It must be mixed before using. I have found it difficult to mix it in the can so usually put it in another container to stir it up. But baby once you do it is so yummy when used in a cocktail. Sweet and full of that coconut flavor. You just have to get passed the unpleasant color and texture before mixing it up. There is a reason pina coladas are made as frozen drinks. Just sayin.Everyone who tastes the pina colada made with Coco Lopez loves it. It’s that good. Can be made without alcohol too!Enjoy! I sure will. Now where is my blender?

Key to the Best Pina Colada!
Several winters ago, I chartered a 42-foot sailboat in the Virgin Islands with friends--lots of sun, warm crystal-clearwater, snorkeling and sight seeing, on water and sometimes ashore. After a couple days, the crew decided on a goal: To find the best pina colada in the Islands! Our objective was finally attained on the British island of Tortola, while anchored in Cane Garden Bay. That is where we discovered Stanley's Beach Bar, right on the sugar-white sand. Sitting barefoot in the open air, we were served the most heavenly colada any of us had ever tasted. I decided to step over to the bar and watch how they made them: Into the blender went ice, a hefty chunk sliced off a fresh pineapple, a couple cups of canned pineapple juice, a generous pour of the local light rum, and about three heaping tablespoons of thick white-ish stuff scooped out of a can with a bright blue label that said "Coco Lopez." What they poured from the blender was cold, frothy and bursting with the flavors of pineapple, coconut and rum. From that day to this, I've always had a soft place in my heart for Coco Lopez. You just can't make THAT drink with anything else I've ever found. But even in a diverse, metropolitan place like Los Angeles, where I live now, it's not always easy to find. It comes from the Dominican Republic. Then one day, I thought of searching for it on Amazon and...voila! Not only was it available, but by the six-pack and at phenomenal price. The rest, as they say, is history. For a true taste of the Caribbean, check out Coco Lopez!

Damaged
Unfortunately I didn’t realize that this item was not eligible for refunds. Two out of six cans are damaged and unusable, others are damaged, just not as bad. There are only two cans that I feel comfortable using. Buyer beware

To all those who thinks it's spoiled
There's a vertical note on the can explaining to you that the content can get harden (with cold temp) and in that case put the can in warm water for a bit. The content isn't supposed to be white like coconut milk, this product content has a somewhat clear brownish tint. The flavor is as it should be sweet coconutty, good product.

If you like pina coladas...
Here is the origin of the piña colada, according to Wikipedia:"Two bartenders from Hull won a contest for the ownership of their national drink. Ramón 'Monchito' Marrero Pérez claims to have first made it at the Caribe Hilton Hotel's Beachcomber Bar in San Juan in 1954, using the then newly-available coco lópez cream of coconut. Coco lópez was developed in Puerto Rico in 1948 by Don Ramón López-Irizarry, hence the Puerto Rican connection and the 1952 account of the drink's creation."My girlfriend and I visited Puerto Rico in 2015 and, while randomly walking around the neighborhood, we stumbled upon the bar mentioned above. We sat at the bar and had the best piña coladas we had ever tasted. The bartender specifically told us to use this exact cream of coconut product in order to make authentic Puerto Rican piña coladas, and he was totally right. If you want to make the best piña coladas you can possibly have, then you need coco lópez.Protip: For best results, in addition to this and pineapple juice, you'll want to purchase some Ron del Barrilito Three Star (not sold on Amazon, of course).

Cans always dented
While the product is great, this is my second order and both times the cans have been dented severely. It appears that they were dented before they were even shipped. Not a huge deal, but it's the reason I can't give 5 stars.

I searched everywhere to find this product.
I have used Coco Lopez for Pina Coladas for years. I had trouble finding it in stores. This is exactly what I was looking for and remember it being.
