Q: Netgear say there is no version 2 of the rax120 yet on their site there is firmware for v2 & people have version 2 units. so why do netgear deny it

Q: How many devices can be connected at one time? some articles say 30 only!!

you will never know the number, I bought 1 because I called netgear and asked for wifi router for 100 devices mix of wired and wireless. The box turned up and says on the box upto 50.... support when logging cases have said only 16 devices then 30 then 75. The netgear site says another figure.

Q: Does this router work with seeing the light fibre connections

Based on the seethelight setup video it looks as though the netgear would be a drop in replacement. As long as the ONT installed in your home is standard and has ethernet port to connect to the WAN port on the router it should work fine. They do say to keep your original router for diagnosing any issues so that's worth noting. I still get dropouts with mine though - read the other comments. Even with wifi 6 connection it can drop - the latest firmware update didn't fix this for me. May be worth you doing some more research into how fibre is set up in the home though to get a good handle on what you need to do - I'm assuming you have an existing connection though so it should work. Try it and if issues check you can return within a specific period in case there are issues.
