This standard 3” diameter by 9.8” length drop-in cartridge is manufacturer tested and verified to reduce sediment down to 5 micron nominal, chlorine taste and odor and scale. Water enters the cartridge at both ends, where it is prefiltered before flowing through a bed of high-absorption carbon. The cartridge has a five-micron filtration rating, allowing it to capture the smallest size particle generally considered to be a problem. It is 9 3/4 in /24.8 cm high.
