targus laptop bag
It's extremely well made like the last one that a friend bought me. It fits the laptop perfectly. The laptop is about 15 inches. Any wider, and I don't think it would fit.

the shoulder stripe holder broke in less than 4 months
This is my 2nd Targus laptop bag. I was very impressed by the quality of the first one so I bought the second one after the first one was retired. As soon as I received it I noticed that the bag was not as durable as the first one. Today the bag dropped from my shoulder to the ground because the should stripe holder loop is broken. The bag is only 3 and half month old!

Lasts for Years
My husband had this same Carrier for 10 years. I kid you not - it lasted that long! He uses it for work every week. Just bought him a replacement because it is incredibly durable!

I have bought these type of cases before for laptops we use in a non-profit. They are very sturdy and can take a lot of abuse. Zippers hold up well.

Strap is too short
My older version of this case, which is several years old, had a MUCH longer strap than this new one. At its longest, the strap holds the bag too high on my hip and makes me feel as though I’m carrying a purse rather than a briefcase. That’s ok if you’re a lady, but I’m a guy. Also, the handle is made of some very stiff material that doesn’t have the nicest feel - but I’m a guy (see above 🙂) and that’s not a big deal. Especially since I feel this bag at $34 is a deal! I’m going to put the old strap on the new bag and call it good.

Exceptional Value.
Replaces the older unit of the same brand, the improvements are excellent. After a year, still going strong.

DO NOT BUY!! This is NOT the case you will receive. The one pictured is the "older" version according to Targus. The current one is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! The hardware, materials are flimsy. The handle is cheap. There is no organizer. I talked to them and they insisted it was not a knockoff, and pointed me to the fine print on their website which says "features may vary". This is one life-long customer gone forever. Good job Targus!
