It is definitely smell proof to untrained or normal noses that have a standard sense of smell. I have some particularly skunky smelling medicinal herbs whose scent has always escaped any container I've put them in, when I put them inside this bag and sealed the velcro closure, I noticed an immediate change in the ambient odor, which then continued to diminish to the point that I could not smell even a trace of the stinky herbs. I cant say whether it would fool trained noses, but I will say that one should keep in mind that when you handle herbs their scent tends to rub off onto your fingers and if those fingers then touch the outside of the bag it is possible that the trace amount of odor that transferred to the outside of the bag could be detected by the more experienced trained noses, so I would suggest not touching the outside of the bag until you wash your hands with soap and hot water, this includes sealing the velcro closure.

The bag has two main pockets, and a mesh pocket inside for organization. It has stood up to casual daily use, the zippers and Velcro have not worn out yet.You probably wonder about the smell. if you keep your bag clean on the outside and you are careful to pull the bag wide so when you seal the Velcro it closes across the entire top of the bag, no human I know can smell inside it. I also like that it’s low key, you don’t need to worry about it not matching your favorite outfit or making random people wonder why you have a smell proof bag.Every family gathering I can be assured that no one will know my top secret oregano blend so I can spice things up like a true culinary wizard.

The only bad things I can say about this is, it's hard to be discreet opening it with the super strong (and loud) Velcro, although I'm sure that won't be an issue for most people. And I kinda wish it was a bit roomier inside, but I got what I asked for. I haven't traveled with it, and I dunno if it's strong enough to stop a drug dog from smelling it, but I think unless you've got some nuclear level stank in large amounts, this thing will keep you and your stuff from smelling

I ordered this bag after I had already bought a smaller version sometime about a year ago and am still really pleased. I don’t mind the sound of the Velcro, it isn’t super loud but I’ll say if you’re opening it in a silent place you’ll hear it faintly. I LOVE the two sided divider because I’m OCD and I just find it great for separating my stuff in the bag. I’ve flown with this product & I have a doggy at home and she’s never found it so I’m extremely satisfied with this company.

Best smell proof bag I have ever owned the smell never comes out at all even if I put my nose against the zipper. I HIGHLY recommend you get this if you're trying to hide the smell of certain material.

This pouch works great. It has good amount of space inside. There's a main divider that has Velcro and completely separates each side. Then there is a mesh divider in one side of pouch and multiple storage loops to hold all your tools as well. This pouch holds a lot of stuff while not taking up to much real estate. Very satisfied with this pouch just like my other formline products. This is a unbiased review. I do not work for formline, im just a happy customer who like these products

With a loaded bowl of some stanky not wrapped up at all... No one was the wiser... Love this Product works like a champ! And the handle to put your arm through helps you be hands free! Def recommend for others tryin to Hide that sweeet Jane.

It’s the perfect size, it’s compact and seals properly, effectively trapping smells. I also like the simple black and white design. Bought as a gift but will probably purchase another for myself.

Yes finally, says what it Does on the tin!!!! It’s great it has a secure zip at the top, that’s really preventing this smells from coming out, not a whiff when full closed, brill, unsuspecting case. Recommend!!

Does what it says, I have kept this full of herb in the living room and no one has noticed the smell! It actually holds everything u need which surprised me as I wasn't sure the size would be big enough!

Put an ounce in pocket at back, very discreet. Had to level it flat. Once in there you cant tell. 🌟
