Hellmann's Classic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing, 1 Litre

I was on business in France many years ago now, and one particular hotel did a dish called Sacree Salade. I was never a salad fan (and it was obvious to look at me LoL) but this salad they did was a simple, but large, tossed green salad with finely chopped ham throughout it, and drizzled with the most incredible dressing. I searched shops for years to find something which resembled it. I gave up. Then discovered THIS. And it’s as close as we can get to it, it’s beautiful. I won’t eat a salad without it, it tastes fantastic and brings large leaf salads to life. I’ve never seen it in any supermarkets and even on Amazon I struggle to locate it! But found the one I bought previously, it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and it’s a big bottle, and lasts for ages. Highly recommended.

Caesar salad isn’t as big a deal in the UK as it is in the US, so there aren’t a huge variety of good quality dressings to choose from! That said, this Hellman’s dressing is one of the nicest, creamiest Caesar dressings I’ve had!I’m not a salad fan, so my lettuce has to be dripping in dressing!! This is neither too sweet nor too sharp, a little goes a long way and means that I can keep my calorie count down! Win-win, so I suggest you try it!How long will it last?? Well, eating a huge bowl of salad twice a day with 15g of dressing and the jar lasted over 2 months.. for £10. Bargain!

My original item fell victim to Hermes, so contacted Gastronomy to see if they could give an update on delivery dates. The lovely staff got back to me quickly and offered a replacement item which has now been delivered. Fabulous customer service and packaged well. Absolutely delighted and will definitely use again. Thank you for making salad eating much less of a chore and a bore. This is my absolute favourite dressing and lasts ages, makes a boring salad tickle the tastebuds. THANK YOU Gastronomy for averting a mid life crisis.

i love the honey mustard dressing flavour and hellmans always makes the best tasting compared to the store brands

I use the product for my salad dressing. I love the product's distinct taste. There is nothing to dislike about the product.

Close to authentic French vinaigrette, although only available in large 1Ltr bottles which can have short use by windows - definitely livens up a salad with a combination of mustard and herbs

Just not quite what I was expecting - it has a rather false sweetness which does not seem to come from the honey. A good size and ok when used as a coleslaw base.
