Department 56 Dickens' Village Swifts Stringed Instruments Lit House

Like this item, though it is small for the price paid. Lots of detail on the Music shoppe. Arrived in perfect condition and was packed well. Cute addition to my village. May keep this up all year. Love the violin you place on the side of the building. Just wish there were a couple people- like one carrying an instrument case and another with a package of sheet music, etc.

High quality, beautiful detail. We were a little hesitant to purchase this building because there were some reviews that said it was "smaller than expected." So glad we gave it a try! It fits in with our other Dickens' Village pieces just fine and just like a real street, the buildings come with different shapes & dimensions but are proportionally matched.

This is an excellent Dicken Village piece. We have nearly 40 of them, and the Swifts Stringed Instruments shop is a classic. Well designed and the view through the window is outstanding. It is great that the pieces offered in the last few years by Department 56 include a scene that can be seen through the window. It makes the shops more realistic.The quality of the Deparment 56 houses and shops places them in a class that is far superior to any others available. True, they are more expensive, but they are worth it, because you can see the difference.

Beautiful piece but very small. I expected a regular size building but it’s kind of funny looking next to my other Department 56 houses . It’s a bit too small but incredibly well made with good detail and nice paint job. Because my daughter plays viola I decided to get this house for her as a Xmas gift . It’s a cute house. I recommend it but be aware of its size .

I have been buying Dickens Christmas Village pieces for my wife. This piece is my favorite. From the little hanging violin sign to the instruments inside the store display window, it is beautifully done and adds a lot of interest to my wife's collection.

If you like A Christmas Carol, these buildings and figurines are great for the holiday season....one drawback its that they all have to be plugged in to electric outlet....I just put batteries in some small lights I found at local Walmart that work just as good....they are ALL expensive

I am very happy with my little music store. Packaging was great too. I was disappointed the images showed it came with a battery pack but instead came with a power cable i cannot use here in Australia.

Very intricate, and excellent quality. The price tag was a bit much at first, but this is heirloom quality. Highly recommended!
