You are bidding on a complete Hayward H-FD Series Pool Heater replacement keypad kit that includes a new keypad and a custom designed all-aluminum cover to protect your keypad from UV and weather damage. You will need to re-use your existing Plastic Bezel. You get everything shown in the first photo. This kit only fits the following Hayward Bezels of the shape shown in picture 2: FDXLBKP1930 FDXLBKP1931 FD universal h-series FD low nox pool heater models: H150FDN, H150FDP, H200FDN, H200FDP, H250FDN, H250FDP H300FDN, H300FDP, H350FDN, H350FDP, H400FDN, H400FDP and all FD CAL Basically, if your HAYWARD heater has a "FD" in the part number Keypad details: Each of these keypads has been tested for proper operation on our HAYWARD heater Test Fixture. The materials used in this replacement keypad are all rated for outdoor operation. The adhesive is also outdoor rated. The dome switches used are high reliability. Installation is easy: Remove your plastic bezel, carefully disconnect the existing cabling, peel off the old keypad, clean the surface of any debris from your existing plastic bezel and paste this replacement keypad where the old one was. Put a twist in the cable before plugging it in. Plug the other connections back in, screw the bezel back in place. Complete, easy installation instructions will be e-mailed to you in a PDF file. Cover Details: All metal construction. The cover is not painted - you will need to paint to match your existing plastic bezel if desired. Attaches to plastic by match drilling 2 holes in your existing plastic bezel. Includes 2 self-tapping screws. Complete, easy installation instructions will be e-mailed to you in a PDF file.

This is a great company and product
This is a great company and product. I received the package in 2 days, and both the keypad and the hinged cover were meticulously packed. The vendor had even hand-written in red ink where to cut the inner protective wrapping to prevent any chance of damage. Installation instructions were very thorough and easy to follow. My Hayward H400ED2 heater fires up instantly now, and all keypad controls work perfectly. Job done!I must say more about Insync Engineering. I salute their vision and genius for making this product available. As is documented in other reviews, Hayward does not sell just the keypad. They require you to purchase the entire Control Bezel Assembly (HAXCPA1932) for around $500. That's hard to swallow when the only thing wrong with my heater was the keypad's 3" ribbon connector had been heat damaged. In other words, about 3 cents of actual material that Hayward requires me to spend $500 to fix. Thank you Insync Engineering for saving me hundreds of dollars.

Awesome!!!!
My H250fdn is about 15 years old, but still going strong with regular maintenance and some parts replaced. The old display was unreadable at this point due to UV damage. Not only can I see what the temperature is set at now, but the cover will prevent further damage to the new panel.

Very happy with purchase, but....
This solved my problem, saved me a bunch of money, and prevents it happening again. But, for the $37 extra they are charging for the cover (which is a small piece of aluminum, two rivets, a piano hinge, and two tiny screws) they should at least provide it with a nice powder finish. Instead it’s just raw aluminum and they tell you to paint it yourself.

This thing fit like a glove and worked right off the bat! For this price, you are crazy to buy the OEM unit. The install was ridiculously simple, and the fit was perfect. Heater works like new again, 'Nuff said.

Exactly what I needed
Item as described. Easy to install and works great. Great alternative to Hayward’s “replacement” when you just need a new keypad. Protective cover is sturdy and should help this keypad last longer.
