I LOVE these blocking combs and now wonder why I've not seen these before! As a crochet designer, I highly recommend these. These make blocking all garments, and especially larger pieces quicker, easier, and yields an overall better result by keeping the edges straighter. One additional bonus: These are safer for all family members because you won't have to worry about a pin getting lost and later found after injuring someone!

Product arrived very quickly. Don't know how I managed in the past when blocking out my knitted shawls using just t-pins. These larger pins are great, takes about half the time to block out a large shawl or wrap. They are sturdy and easy to handle and I love the storage container they come in, which is equally as sturdy as the pins. I had previously bought one of these sets for my sister and I should have ordered one for myself as well. Would definitely recommend for any blocking project.

Even though I've been crocheting & knitting for years, never really blocked items before. Now I feel foolish because with these pins & combs it is so easy & makes a real difference, especially when using wool. Had enough pins & combs to block a full XL Adult sweater. Easy to use & great results.

These pins work perfectly for lace projects where T-pins don't hold a big enough area. Combined with blocking wires, these pins adequately set details, points and curves on knitted items. I have also used them to block straight edges and they work fine for that, too. I have not used them with heavier weight yarn, so I can only review how the pins work with fingering weight. I would guess they work just as well with worsted. I am very pleased with them and recommend them to anyone who needs to finish off a project and have it lie flat and with detail showing.

This is the first time I needed to block something and saw these. They are a genius idea and make it so much neater when blocking an item. I had made a shrug and my stitch count was way to high, so it made the shrug longer and not as high as I expected, so I blocked it to almost the right size, hopefully. I need to do my own calculating in the future! But as far as blocking, I went to YouTube, and followed the directions and it's a great invention! I just wish I had more of them, but hopefully, I won't need them again.

There wasn’t any problem in using the combs for blocking a shawl or a poncho that I knitted. I had been debating whether or not to invest in the combs for sometime. Any project I have previously knitted I always used the T pins. I can’t tell you how much time I saved by using these combs. The ease with which they held the yarn and the ease in which I could remove them, made me wonder why I waited so long to purchase them. Pondering whether to get another set. Very good product!

One box is perfect for blocking a number of squares at a time, or small pieces. Combs are sturdy and easy to use. The reason for my 4-star review instead of 5 is the packaging. The box is sturdy, but does close securely; the top just slides off. Given that the contents are sharp, I would have paid extra for a container that had a secure latch. As of now, I have a couple of rubber bands around the box.

Blocking combs better help me obtain straighter edges than using a gazillion straight pins. I selected Red Suricata over their competition because I received better value for money. I very pleased with the combs. They're sturdy but gentle to my knits. I'll probably buy another set soon!

I haven't used this product as yet but look forward to trying them out. I assume they will work just fine. I may even order another set.
