Great price to fix broken button covers
Two for this price was great, considering how much it would be to get replacements from the dealer. My wife's and my buttons were pretty worn out so I swapped the electronics for both. It's a little difficult to take the old one apart but doable. On mine, I just swapped the whole key/hinge/spring from the old one to the new one to move my key over. The only complaint I have is that the hinge thing that holds the key on my wife's old fob was broken so I attempted to remove the pin to swap just the key itself, but the cutout where the pin goes in was slightly different so the pin wouldn't go into the new one. We had already gotten a separate key copied (so the fob is just the buttons to lock and we have a separate key to start the car), so it's no big deal to just keep doing that. But it would have been nice if it fit. Since I can't take a half-start off I am giving it 5 because it is still a great value.

Research before you invest
My key fob for my 2013 Kia Soul fell apart from normal use over the years. The rubber to unlock the doors fell out and were lost. I called my Kia dealership to quote the replacement. One fob plus the cosr to program it was well over $200,00. My son went onto Amazon and found Febrytold 2 Pcs Remote Key Shell and the description matched my fob exactly. My son has the spare fob that came with my Soul when I purchased it. Even with Prime 2 day free shipping the fobs came the next day. Within 30 minutes my son completely changed out both fobs and no programming was necessary. They both work perfectly after 2 months of use. I am thankful that I don't have to use my key to manually lock and unlock my doors. Talk about a savings??? So Blessed for this PTL.

Generally work well
These are a good buy for the price. It would be nice if it came with instructions, but you can find them on the Internet, and on YouTube. It would be nice if there was a good place to put a dab of glue to hold them together. Everywhere I’ve tried has not worked well. While they do snap together, they do have a tendency to pop apart, such as wind dropping them on the floor. One would think a little dab of cyanoacrylate glue would help.

Highly recommend! Fairly easy to replace following a YouTube tutorial.
What a great little kit! Be careful opening the little bags as the single screw each fob comes with is tiny. I would suggest having needle nose pliers and a small flathead screwdriver on hand in addition to the little phillips one provided.I followed the instructions on a YouTube video (screenshot of the video I used is attached to this review) and it worked great. Very pleased! It was a little tricky getting the push button in place properly and for some reason using the old push button worked better. Visibly couldn't tell the difference between the two, but whatever. Save your old parts! We did have to pry off the little metal KIA logo sticker that was covering the screw on the original fob. Then we used a hot glue gun to stick it over the new one. It was still tacky, but we thought a little blob of hot glue would hold it better.

Awesome product - READ THE DESCRIPTION
All the folks with the negative reviews clearly didn't read what they were ordering. This is an empty shell. It's exactly what I wanted, since the electronics and key for my Kia were still working fine - the rubber buttons had just started to rot away. Five minutes to shift over the chip board and key, and I had a brand new fob.Note! You'll need to wind the spring once when you're installing the key blade to make sure it pops out when you press the release button. Just watch closely when you disassemble your original key or one of these fob shells to see exactly how the spring winds around it.

not easy but worth it for temporary fix.
No instructions make doing this a challenge, but with some patience, common sense, YouTube videos and these shells one can save hundreds and fix their keys. Nice that they give you two, so you can fix both keys. I had to glue mine shut since it did not snap closed properly. That review was after a year of use. Now two years later I have new problems and I am reducing my rating from 3 to 2. First the one I had glued shut came apart again when I let my girlfriend use it and she twisted it pretty hard. After that I glued it again, but a short while later the key from the original fob snapped off. Unfortunately for me I glued it too well the second time and had to break it in pieces to get the electronics out. I am using the second one that came with with the one that is destroyed now, but it also doesn't stay together and now I am afraid to use it. I am buying a second set now, hoping that they have fixed the design flaw that makes them keep coming open with use. It is still saving me over $100.00 but I'm reaching the point where I am not sure it is worth it.....

Best purchase ever
Easiest transition ever. Take the battery cover off and remove the battery. Use a flat top screw driver to pop the actual case off. Be careful not to lose the spring or the button from either the old case or the new one! Transfer the chip if needed. To re-twist the spring- add the spring and button to the key. Gently twist the key counterclockwise while the spring is on the little nub and then close the key. Keeping pressure, reapply the front of the case and that’s it! I use a flathead to take off the original Kia logo and used the included sticker for the barcode. Looks brand new!

Perfect!
Daughter's 2013 Kia Soul's FOB was falling apart. The small pad on the face (Lock, Hold, Unlock) slowly came apart - piece by piece. Ordered this product and PRESTO...in about five minutes everything was back in action! One review suggested simply changing out the pad and that is exactly what I did. I had to dig out/clean out the small "gutter" so the new pad could pop in and that was easily accomplished with a flat head screwdriver. Popped the new one off the product and snapped it in - done! Would order again in a heartbeat!
