Is that true the spray is Windex?

No it is not windex, Monster Tac bowling ball cleaner has been formulated especially to clean porous reactive resin urethane and approved as such with the USBC. This cleaner is very different from windex, for one it does not contain ammonium hydroxide. What may confuse people is that it does contain sky blue dye, which is used in windex.

So you spray the ball and wipe down with the applicator pad? If so, can you wash the applicator?

That is correct. Spray the cleaner on the bowling ball or directly onto the applicator pad and wipe down the bowling ball. You may hand wash or machine wash the applicator when the microfiber needs cleaning. The applicator pad is a foam sponge covered with microfiber.
