Eddie Bauer - King Comforter Set, Reversible Alt Down Bedding with Matching Shams, Breathable Home Decor for All Seasons (Edgewood Red/Beige, King)

Makes my duvet very warm (too warm, actually, for the weight of the duvet). If you need extra warmth, this is perfect.Colors are very nice, fits well. The internal ties hold the duvet in place. Washes and wears well. Looks great. Using with rustic cabin bedroom. Good compromise for "anything but floral".

Received quickly. Color is not as pictured. There is a considerable amount of orange in this. The color is rather dingy in person.

I ordered a king and I'm sure I got a Queen. If it is indeed an Eddie Bauer, They must have made a mistake by sending me the wrong size comforter. Other then being to small on the bed, I would recomend this comforter. If you have a Queen bed, You must order the king size so the blanket hangs over the sides.

PROS:+ This is a very well made duvet cover set. Typical good Eddie Bauer quality.+ The opening (where you put in the duvet) is tucked under to be totally hidden in a way I've never seen before, and really do like.+ Doesn't wrinkle badly at all.+ The corner ribbons are longer and more substantial than any duvet cover I've had - and I have a lot of them.+ It is not a knock-off off Eddie Bauer as someone suggested.+ It's very nice, sturdy fabric, and will probably last for many years.CONS:- Even after multiple washings, the fabric is a little stiff, like khaki-ish feeling fabric.- The little square of color right in the middle of each big square in the plaid pattern has a rust / orange-ish tone to it in some light. At other times of the day, the orange appears more deep red. It's not terribly noticeable, but some may not like it.I've had this duvet cover for a couple of months and have machine washed and dried it weekly (dogs). No regrets at all about buying this item.

(Update: Although it does not feel like flannel we are actually very happy with this duvet. It is keeping us warm and looks very nice on the bed. I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 4.)Original Review - As others have noted, this duvet cover does not feel at all like flannel. I should have listened. This cover feels like slick polyester. It doesn't even look like flannel. I can't understand why some people said it felt "so soft." The cover looks OK but, however tempting the price and Eddie Bauer name, do buy this if you want flannel. You'll just end up sending it back.

So soft and Cozy! I was looking for that perfect comforter that would just look super casual and comfortable, the kind that you see and just want to crawl in bed. I am always super hesitant about purchasing linens and such online because I can't feel the quality or softness before I purchase but since I couldn't find anything locally and I gave up searching I finally ordered this after having it in my cart for a month. I absolutely love it. Hands down the softest and most comfortable comforter I have ever owned and so cute! the colors are nice and deep and look awesome. It really is nicer that pictured and it is reversible with a smaller plaid on the other side. It is not extremely thick or hot, but it not thin by any means I would say around a medium fill which is what I was looking for to achieve a more year round comfort level. I love it against the dark wood of our bedroom furniture but it really would look nice against any color , we have very rustic deco in our bedroom and it suits it with the addition of burlap throw pillows but it is nice and classy enough to go with any kind of deco you are shooting for. I have never purchased Eddie Bauer before but after owning this I took a look at other products ha had available. It washes very nicely and dried perfect with a tennis ball in the dryer. We purchased the king size and I do wish it hung a little lower on the sides so if you are looking at the queen the king might be a nice oversized alternative, if you don't mind having the king sized pillows vs. the standard. Other than that I am very impressed with the comforter and am very very happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a comforter that we could use for fall and winter that would look and feel cozy when decorating for warmer seasons. I’ve got to say, I’m obsessed with it! It’s unbelievably soft, light weight and looks so inviting on our bed. We’ll keep it on our bed for the rest of winter and switch to our lighter, more summery looking quilt for spring/summer months—though I’ll be so excited to pull this guy back out again next fall.It is true that this comforter does seem to have some orange and very light purple tones when you really look at it. Enough to where I checked my orders to see if I ordered the wrong thing. But because I specifically wanted it for a cozy fall/winter look, it worked well for what I needed. If you really wanted the red, green and white, you could flip it over to the other side. That’s what I did for the Christmas season to give a different feel. That was an added bonus for me.I saw some pictures in some reviews about the stitching coming apart and I’m genuinely confused by that. No issues at all here. This will last me for years without a problem.

We are using them for our cabin / vacation rental. Soft and I love the color. Red is a darker red, not a holiday red. I bought a queen size for a full bed, but I like having the extra bedding over the sides. (Especially with since they are pushed against the wall.)I have been so pleased with them, I bought an additional double set for convince with housekeeping.

Good quality material….wrinkles coming out of dryer….a quick iron and looks great!

I really like the fabric, and the colors are crisp. Wondering though- why can't the people who make duvet covers- get together with the people who make the duvets, so the dang things fit properly?? There are too many options of sizes out there- and then you cant find a colour that'll be decent in your environment! SO disappointing! But at least- AND THIS IS A BIG BONUS- this cover comes with inner ties to anchor the duvet- even if it still won't lay nicely inside and be smooth on the bed it doesn't shift about in there!

I am happy with the duvet cover except after washing and drying it came out came out of the dryer wrinkled. I ironed the pillow shams which helped but since the duvet cover is too big fan ironing board so it has a wrinkled look when on the bed.

I had bought the comforter set like this by accident. It was so soft and cosy that my son refused to let me send it back. He has a bunk bed with futon below, so I went ahead and ordered the duvet set as well. It looks the same (ie. design, colours etc.) but the material is stiff and kind of scratchy feeling. I really should have sent it back but I had already bought a duvet for it and of course it matches the comforter we he uses as a blanket on the futon below. Disappointing.
