It's a good buy

This is not of G-Schock quality but if you are looking for a low cost watch with a good size dial that is very easy to read, easy to navigate pushers to set the time and its other functions, at a modest price this is an excellent choice. The lighting of the dial when needed is excellent.

I have been looking all over for the perfect watch. I have even looked around for watches in the $4,000 price range. I looked at Tudor, Shinola, Oris and a heap of other classic watches. When it comes down to it, I wanted a useful and attractive watch. This Casio Classic in Blue checks all of my boxes. And it is so cheap! It is light on the wrist, the display is very clear, the day-date-time is just perfect. The blue is a very fun blue and the case has an attractive array of blues and silvers. I do need to state that this watch is not water resistant up to 50 meters. When I looked up this model through Casio, just to make sure, it is not listed as water resistant up to 50 meters. This watch can be splashed, can be in the rain or be on your wrist when you wash your hands; but it is not listed as a watch for swimming or diving. The bullet-point in the current description is false. Besides that, very happy with it!

I have always had a Casio watch since childhood. They have always been solid timepieces and easy to use. With this being no exception to that rule. The only reason I have had to buy a new one is because I lost the previous one while camping. It tells the time and has some date functionality. The alarm works and it has a stop watch feature. It's easy to read in bright daylight and the LED that come in them is bright and make the watch easy to read at night. It's lightweight and comfy with a descent fit. The blue colour really stands out. The one thing that becomes very clear about these watches is that you won't ever have to worry about the battery. Unless you are needlessly triggering the backlight the battery should last you years. And that's because Casio have refined the device to such a high standard, even on the cheapest models.
