The Big Book of Homemade Products for Your Skin, Health and Home: Easy, All-Natural DIY Projects Using Herbs, Flowers and Other Plants Paperback – April 14, 2020

This book is an incredible resource for your natural care library. I am taking my time going through all of the great recipes. I am looking forward to adding some great products to my body care collection.

I love all of the products that this book has in it to make. I’ve only done a facial cleanser and a laundry detergent, but they work amazing and I immediately notice and feel a difference in my things when I get to make them by myself. if you wanna start making Cleaning products and skin care products this book has it and it’s amazing.

She does a great job teaching and giving alternative options. My neighbor gifted me salves she made from the book, which worked great (yarrow plantain heel). So I purchased the book to make my own.

I so happy I ordered this book! I’m a maker with my own online store and I use this book and the recipes as a starting point for me to create new products. This book is great for the beginner who wants basic recipes and for the experienced as she has some terrrific ideas. Floral cleansing grains are my favorite. I can’t wait to make them.

So, I gave this book a 4 star because I really do not like the binding. It has a premier binding so the book is to stay open when using. I did not know this at 1st, but when it came to my attention, still don't like the binding! Looks like it will fall apart or tear the pages! But it hasn't.But everything else is a 5 star and beyond! So many useful recipes, and the materials and ingredients are easy to come by or grow yourself, for the most part. Just a beautiful book. Easy instructions and even warnings on when not to use certain ingredients for use on children and pets. I already do many recipes of my own using all natural ingredients and plants found in nature, but this did give more ideas and information. Love her books! Just can't say enough!!!

Made a few recepies already. Easy to get ingredients. Im specially enjoying my hair spray, makes my hair smell nice and is smooth to the comb.

This book is fantastic. It is one of my favorites. I love all the color photos! She explains different types of carrier oils, beeswax, Shea butter, essential oils, clays etc. She provides recipes that are easy to make. I love that her recipe also includes substitutions. I made the detangler for my granddaughters and they love it. It works perfectly! I plan to make more of her recipes. I highly recommend this book!

I’m very happy with this book. I’ve tried a couple of recipes so far and am planning to try soap for the first time very soon. I actually downloaded an e-book from this author many years ago and forgot about it until I got this book and realized it was the same author. I had never infused oils with herbs before reading this book. I have tried the quick method and the long method and will be using the oils from the long method in my soap. If you like to make your own products this is a very good book.
