Wore them for the first time, an all day event with a lot of time on my feet, love these flip flops, no sore feet, no break in necessary on these shoes, just comfort,.Sized to fit, I ordered the size I ware and they fit perfectly, will buy again when these ware out in a few years

I have owned a pair of these sandals for over a year now and I a big sandal-wearer. I wear them nearly every day. They are the most comfortable and most durable sandals I have ever worn. I used to go through cheap $10 supermarket sandals every few weeks but since I have bought these sandals, I have never needed to buy another pair. These are my very first Reef sandals and Reef will from now on be the ONLY sandals I buy. At first, the upper sole feels a little flat but in a very short time it moulds to your particular tread making them the most comfortable sandals you will ever wear. The tread is only very marginally worn at the front and back of the sandal but, seeing I’ve worn them almost every day for over a year, this is definitely acceptable. They have only had foot odour once but after you soak them overnight its gone. I think I’ll probably get at least another 2 years out of these sandals. Well worth the money.

These are my favorite leather flip flop style sandals. I wear them everyday in warm months. Very comfortable and durable. All leather construction and solid rubber tread.

well made, very little cushioning

They fit okay, and they look okay. I bought these to replacea pair of all-leather sandals that I'dbought 25 years ago that lasted all this time. Ill be lucky if these last a year. The construction is mostly synthetic or the absurdly termed "vegan leather" (that was not in the description) which is bad enough. The worst thing is that the bottom of the sole consists of a godawful weird design that doesn't look like it's going to maintain any kind of traction over the long term.These are overpriced. If you're looking for synthetic leather there are other options that are available for half the price.

Reef's Jay Bay III are in my opinion the best flip flops you can buy on the market. I retired 6 yrs ago and all I wear are my flip flops. I'm pretty rough on them and usually I get 6-9 months use before they break and I move on to my next pair. They are comfortable from day 1 and get more comfortable throughout their lifetime. I wouldn't know what to do if they quit making the Jay Bay III's as I depend on them daily like most people do a pair of their favorite sneakers. Thank you Reefs for making the best flip flop on the market.

First of all, these attractive flip flops have very high quality construction and are made with premium leather. Now for the fit. I have owned 3 previous pairs of Reef flop flops and all had a similar fit. This style fits completely different from all the others. The length is about right as I am a Size 10 and they are not too short. The problem is that the top leather strap is way too tight, resulting from the side connection to the sole. This results in pain just below the big toe at the top of the ball of the foot. I have had these about 4 weeks and have worn them for at least 60 hours since receiving them. They have loosened up some due to the indentation made by my foot in the sole and minor stretching of the strap to my foot shape, but they are still not totally comfortable. I have had to endure significant pain to make them wearable. The stamped Reef name in the heel area is initially uncomfortable and unattractive. I would probably not purchase these again until Reef makes the top inside strap longer. If I did want these, as they look fantastic, I would buy a size larger.
