Simple Houseware 5 Shelf Hanging Closet Organizer, Red

I purchased this item to accompany us on our camping trip. After setting up the EZ up shade, I proceeded to hang this organizer from the frame of the EZ-up. I used it as a storage for our camping utensils, plates, cups, first aid kit, sunscreens, etc. This worked like a CHARM! it kept our camping table clear of items and also kept them in an easily accessible place. With this product being out I the open at night, the moisture from the night mountain air didn't hurt it. It hangs easy, too. Definitely recommend this product.

I have been using a very similar product for many years in my closet for shoes. I tried a lot of different ways to store my shoes so they are out of the way net conveniently available when I need them and a hanging canvas compartmented organizer like this is by far the best way I’ve ever found.The bedroom in my new house has a walk-in closet. Seriously I don't know how I existed without one before now. While that does give me more room, surprisingly it makes organization of my clothes more difficult, especially things like tee shirts which never do well in a dresser drawer but are impractical to hang.QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTIONI have this hanging next to a shoe organizer that is a similar concept that I've had for many years. By comparison this newer organizer feels like it is made of slightly thinner canvas, but because of the way it's designed I don't think that makes it any weaker or less effective, it's strong enough that I doubt if it will ever wear out or tear. Unlike some similar brands this one has a heavy cardboard reinforced shelf at every opening, not just top and bottom. In fact the top doesn't even use cardboard, it has a wire perimeter frame to which are attached the hangers. My only gripe about this product is that they don't include any instructions, and while it doesn't need much they could have, and should have, instructed us that the wire frame has an up and a down.There is no assembly with this organizer, just lift it out and let it fall into place, then hang it over the closet rod. Each cubicle has a cardboard bottom shelf that supports the weight of about a dozen shirts without sagging. Because the shirts are stacked out in the open it is easy to find and select the one I want to wear. The proper way to install it is with the two little bumps that attach to the hooks pointing up. That way the frame supports the entire top. If you install the frame upside down it will work but it won't support the top quite as well.DETAILS TO KNOWThe two most common ways to hang these organizers in the closet are either hook and look tape straps or wire coat hanger hooks. I prefer the hooks because over time the hook and loop tape loosens and is not able to hold the organizer as securely.One observation is that if you are attracted to the feature that there are side pockets, don't get too excited. They aren't very practical and if you put more than one of these organizers side by side, as I did when I saw how much I liked the first one, you can't get to the side pockets anyway.I can easily see why this organizer is so well liked. Of course I can't compare it to every other brand made but there is nothing whatsoever to dislike about this one.

Great product. Only took a minute to assemble and hang. I am currently using it for jeans, slacks, shorts and sweaters. Despite having several garments in the cubbies, I haven't experienced any sag or compromised structural integrity. The mesh pockets (6) on the sides are great for small items like gloves, beanies, sunglasses, scarves, etc.I am very pleased with the price and quality, I only wish it came in more colors!

Bought based on reviews.. bought 3 for my son's walk in. As you can see from the pics they are pretty packed in with clothing.. shelves have not bent thank god and seems sturdy enough. Would recommend.

Initially I loved this but now that I have used it for a couple weeks in my RV closet, I’m pretty disappointed. The fabric “shelves” are sloped ever so slightly downward in the front so everything wants to slide out. The manufacturer could remedy this by making the shelves slope more towards the back, thus holding things in their place. The material is certainly not meant to hold more than a couple towels.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Worst thing ever purchased on Amazon! I don’t know whoever quality tested these things but clearly they never tried to put anything in them! Within an 24 hours of hanging them it with a couple of normal sz Medium US women’s sweaters per slot, the seams pulled and tore. This thing is absolute garbage! I have tried to repair it with duct tape but it’s clear that’s not going to last. Of course we can always send these products back, but the effort isn’t worth the effort to drive to the UPS Store. Trust me, though. These are trash!

easy to set up, super light-weight, but extremely durable. the hook enclosure system is the hardiest i've seen. i have a large weight of folded clothes in each shelf and it does not strain at all. the material is also a good quality and very sturdy. the best i've seen for hanging closets and definitely the most affordable. if you're looking to try something like this for closet organization this is the one you should go with.

I bought one of this style hanging unit at Target and this one. The one from Target fell apart after a few weeks use in our camper. This one is as good as new after a season of use. It has solid pieces across the bottom of the shelves that hold the shape even when fully loaded. The side pockets are holding up perfectly under a lot of use.

I bought two of these, based on their great reviews. Was really excited to get them, right away put them in my closet, and put t- shirts, tank tops, long sleeve t’s and sweatshirts in (woman’s medium and large). Four hours later one of them had broken and spilled clothes out... ripped along right side and half way across the back. I took some rope and tied around them both, twice, to add support... but so much for my nice tidy looking closet. If only I had grabbed duck tape instead of rope... would have been Red Green’s dream! I ordered several other items from same company that haven’t arrived yet, hope they are better quality, or I have just wasted over a hundred dollars. Could have bought wood and made shelves that would have worked and looked better for less than that!

OverviewI use these for extra vertical storage in my daughters closet. I bought them to match a hamper and storage cubes from the same line...They were pretty easy to assemble and hang up. I'm just using them for blankets and clothes...and they easily handle the weight. Had one of these from the dollar store ($4) for a few years before it fell apart. By comparison this one is a little more durable, both with stronger shelves and with a real metal hanger, and it is much larger, with five full shelves and three mesh pockets on each side of it (though whether that's worth more than 3X the price, we'll see). Folds up completely flat, and the hanger (which has two hooks rather than the usual one, so the shelf is more stable) is a separate piece.Recommended.

Bought one to organize my yarn and projects and was surprised at how sturdy it was. The pockets on the sides were durable enough that I could throw my hooks and stuff in without worrying about it ripping. I was so happy to be able to see everything and get them out of bins that I bought another one.

Je l'avais acheté pour y mettre des chandails qui n'entraient plus dans mes tiroirs. Pour ce qui est de la hauteur, on peut y entreposer des tonnes des chandails, mais une fois pliés, ils dépassent au bout. Et à force de dépasser, ils se déplient et glissent. Je ne sais pas à quel point je vais l'utiliser longtemps avant de me tanner.
