Is it also for kittens?

I don't think I would buy these for kittens, especially small ones. My two cats are almost full grown (about 9lbs each) and they had a difficult time eating these. The treats were too hard for them. One of them gave up trying to chew them and left them on the floor.

what ingredient in these treats actually does anything for their teeth?

I don't know if there is any specific ingredient that helps (though the chlorophyll might). I think it's more about the size & texture of the treats...they kind of act like a toothbrush. My kitties love them, btw.

Do these help with bad kitty breath?

My cat's breath isn't terrible to start with, although he enjoys these treats and his teeth look better since I've been giving these to him. Follow the package directions.

Is this item for kitten about 4 months old?

They’re fine. My sisters 4m old kitten loves them. She inly gives her half of one, tho.
