Does what it should.
Holds bits tight without cranking down on the chuck. Nicely made, fair price.

Lathe 1/2" Drill Chuck with 2MT Short Arbor
This tool has proven to be an excellent purchase for my lathe. The description of the tool was very accurate and the price was very fair. Upon close examination, I am sure it will last a long time. It has done the job that it was designed to do. I would recommend this chuck to anyone with a lathe who needs a quality tool at a reasonable price.

Great tool to have
This chuck and arbor are the perfect size and length for the mini lathe. The only issue I have found is that you need to get creative in order to eject the arbor.

This thing is a beast ....
Have had other chuck/collet combos that you get from HF etc. but this one grips the bits better, and you gain an extra .75 or so of travel due the shortened arbor, which on a 8x10 lathe is a big deal.
