SEI Furniture Wrought Iron and Wicker Five Drawer Storage Unit, Black, Warm Caramel

I got this for extra storage in my non-storage friendly kitchen/dining room. It's perfect! I already purchased the matching baker's rack two years ago and I don't know why it took me so long to get this. Both are sturdy enough to pull out the drawers easily and confidently; just keep in mind that they will tip when pulled out if you don't support it. I did bolt the bakers rack to the wall because of the way my microwave door opened (no longer have that one), it was simple to do but not necessary for regular use.A tip for assembling the drawers: screw the top piece onto the brackets before placing it on the unit. It will save you some contorting and you'll be able to get the screws in straight. They're only to keep the board from sliding so I don't mind if they're a little crooked, you can't even see them.Overall: great piece, great price. And I would definitely buy again.

I looked through many lightweight storage units and chests before zeroing in on this one. I'm very happy with the purchase. Hubby had it together in under 30 minutes. We lined the drawers with cardboard, and wrapped each sheet with contact paper, just in case I decide to store some knits or sweaters. It's quite well made, and I wanted something lightweight for easy moving. It looked good where we had it in the living area temporarily, before finally decided on the half bath. As mentioned by others, it's a tiny bit wobbly since it's so lightweight, so plan to use the attached cords to stabilize it against the wall. If you like the look and durability of wicker and rattan as I do, you'll be pleased with this. I have pieces 30-40 years old, and take them outside for a spritzing of water at least once a year.

Overall, this is a really good product. I'd order it again. It's great for my bathroom - I already put it together today and filled it with all the bathroom necessities. My only gripe is that for the price, it's pretty cheaply made. I mean, I didn't expect heirloom quality, but it'd be nice if the metal at least seemed a bit sturdier. One of my pieces was a bit bent (not hugely, but still - annoying) and while it looks nice put together, you can tell while putting it together that it's not worth what I paid for it!Assembly is easy once you a) unpack all the pieces and b) once you get the first three shelf-holders in. One of them kept popping out when I put the other ones in! Finally, I kept them all in and could proceed. It was easy from there.Even with the price, this is still a better deal than similar (and smaller) ones I've seen at Bed Bath & Beyond. It looks nice and holds a lot. I searched for alternatives and couldn't find similar size and style for the price, so I guess this is as good as it gets. Just wish the price was closer to what it took to actually make the components!

This five drawer unit can be a very good answer, if your pressed for room. The drawers have a very useful capacity, slide in and out freely and operate as nicely as a conventional bureau drawer. The color is neutral and will work fairly well with any color scheme. Assembly is quick and the unit is light enough in weight to be moved easily, by one person. I have mine tucked in a corner of my Studio Apartment bathroom and it is more than adequate for some linens and bathroom items but still leaves ample room to move around the bath. An attractive purchase price as well.

The stand is decent quality, and sturdy when assembled correctly. Assembly was simple and quick enough. The video guide (in Amazon product pictures) paired with the instruction booklet provided clear direction. Although some reviews state the price is a bit high, I shopped around and it seems to be a good price for furniture constructed from wrought iron and wicker (to be clear, this is a light stand, the metal pieces are not solid metal, they are hollow). The wicker weaving on the drawers is tight, but will wear and splinter on the bottom as you use the stand. The drawers are not a snug fit in each compartment, and they do not "slide" out in a traditional drawer sense (due to the materials being wrought iron and wicker, you can feel the ridges in the wicker as you open and close the drawers if you slide them, lifting the drawers as you use them will help). You can see between the top of each drawer and the next, but it provides an open and relaxed feel to the piece. The wooden piece at the top is not solid wood, it is medium density fiberboard (MDF - as it states in the product description). This does help make assembly somewhat easier, since you can just screw through MDF (think particle board). Once completely assembled, the piece is sturdy. Using the wall brackets is the best bet to make it secure. I am happy with it, and would leave a better review had it not been for my negative experience with getting replacements for damaged parts.The original order arrived in a timely manner. Some parts however, were slightly damaged. I emailed the customer service email provided by Amazon. I received a reply in a couple of days stating they are sending out the replacement parts and they should arrive within a week. Almost a month passed, and I emailed asking for a tracking number (I thought the shipment had been delayed due to COVID). The customer service representative asked for order confirmation (which was not required at first). After some emails back and forth, it soon became evident that the replacement parts were never shipped. I asked direct questions in my email, but received no response to my questions. The representative only discussed what they wanted to, and ignored most of what I was asking. They eventually stated they would send the replacement parts, and to ask them for a tracking number later in the week. By the end of our interaction, my questions were left unanswered. I did receive my replacement parts eventually, but be aware of the fact that the customer service at this company may not be easy to work with, should you need anything.I was disappointed by what I can only call a lack of professionalism. The furniture is decent quality, but customer service (in my experience) is lacking.

This storage unit is adorable, and it was very easy to put together. I did it all by myself! I was able to put all my makeup, vitamins, hair accessories, and other things I needed to store in the drawers. It’s sturdy, even though it’s not heavy and it really is adorable!! I’m glad I bought it. It will really help if you have a drill, just for the nails that go into the wooden top shelf of this unit, I included a photo, but other then that, the only tool I needed was the little metal tool that came with it to screw the three rails together that the drawers slide in...I was not paid for my review or given any kind of discount : )

Muy fácil de armar. Sumamente práctico. Lo estoy usando para libros pequeños y artículos de decoración. Aguanta el peso sin problemas y no se desarma. Lo recomiendo al 100%

This was expensive but I read the reviews and still bought it. Was easy to put together but it has its problems. The baskets tend to be chipped in places, they slide out so you need to hang on to them or everything is on the floor. In time I expect they will wear and the cheap brittle wicker will crumble. I never complained to the company because I really needed something for the corner of the dinning room. Couldn't find anything. Would I recommend this, well don't expect something stunning so it's your choice.
