- EXTRA GRIP BONDING AGENT: Febond Blue Grit is a high-performance extra grip plaster bonding agent that is quick to apply and provides an improved mechanical key to any smooth surface thanks to its aggregate properties. The Febond Blue Grit is the only bonding coat that you need for walls prior to plastering. What puts this apart from the rest, is that it allows you to bond to difficult substrates such as glass, ceramics, MR plasterboard, MDF, pre-cast concrete, and other particle boards etc..
- READY TO USE FROM THE TUB: From the moment you receive the Febond Blue Grit, you can use it straight from the tub. Before applying, ensure that the intended substrate is dust, release-agent and frost-free as well as suitable to provide sufficient support. Intended coverage is approximately 4.5m2 per litre, depending on porosity of substrate. The Febond Blue Grit is available in 5L and 10L buckets, making it perfect for renovation and home improvements.
- EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS: Stir well before use, and make sure that the ambient temperature is above 5 degrees C, with just one coat being sufficient. Apply using a short pile roller or brush to provide an even coating, and the Febond Blue Grit is coloured blue to prevent you missing any areas. Once applied fully, allow to dry thoroughly before applying plaster (usually 24 hours). Drying time will be considerably extended at low temperatures.
