ASICS Women's Frequent Trail Running Shoes

Comfortable; look great.

These fit well and are really comfortable. The width is great for regular width. They have enough support and hopefully they’ll have enough traction for winter which is why I got trail sneakers.

I have purchased at least a dozen pairs in various styles of ASICS over the years, and these by far are the least comfortable. They run a bit long and narrow, the sole is very firm, and there is little arch support. However, they are well made and look very nice. I thought about returning them, but since they look nice I did not. They will work well on days I do not plan to walk much.

I've been buying this same shoe for my daily five-mile power walks for several years now. I purchase them one and a half sizes larger than my regular shoes, which works out to Size 9 for me. I put about 275 to 300 miles on them before I begin to notice discomfort in my feet (toe, sole cramps), so they do break down eventually. But the treads do not wear down, and I keep them to use for gardening and other chores after their workout days are over. They are also somewhat adjustable, in that you can tighten or loosen the laces to fit across the top of the foot. Lacing through the extra last eyelet keeps them from slipping through the heel. I do use a shoehorn to put them on quickly. Definitely recommend.

I run very often. I wanted a shoe that would have some type of grip at the bottom. This shoe has it. I don’t have to worry about slipping or sliding on my runs going up hill and down hill. Not so much cushion on the bottom. I think it has the right amount of cushion tho. I believe Too much cushion allows my ankle to roll like I did with a pair of other running shoes ( because I run outdoors a lot) so this shoe being sturdy and not having mess wrapped around like u have a sock on plus all that foam at the bottom helps a lot with foot support. If you don’t want your ankle rolling and don’t want to be slipping THIS IS THE SHOE! Take it fromSomeone who runs a lot and used many shoes for running. With this price you can’t beat that. Yes I believe it’s comfy! And my shins did not hurt running down hill.

Quality and fit are not as good as other ASICS shoes I previously purchased. I thought I was purchasing the same shoe that I prevously purchased because the description is the same, but it is not even close. Not at all as comfortable as other ASICS shoes

These shoes look really good on the foot. My only issue is with the instep. I have a high instep and the laces aren't long enough to loosen for the extra height of my foot. However, very supportive and lightweight at the same time.

I have narrow feet, a high arch and I'm a supinator. These shoes fit so well that I purchased 3 pair in different colors. Just might be back for the other colors, too. They perform well for walking, weight training, cycling and other low impact exercise, but I'm not a runner...so I can't vouch for them in that area.Update 03/08/20: I own these in 3 colors - Black/Piedmont Grey, Carbon/Stone Grey and Nightshade/Black. I also recently purchased the Peacoat/Pixel Pink, but had to return that color because the fit of the shoe was not quite the same as the other colors - very stiff forefoot and rubbing on the ankles. They are great fitting shoes for my particular feet and I find myself reaching for them time and time again.

Me encantaron estos tenis, son muy cómodos y quedan muy bien, generalmente yo batallo porque tengo el pie muy ancho pero estos me quedaron bien. El color esta padrisímo

I have gone from brand to brand - it just seems shoes are made cheaper and don’t provide reliable foot support. Went through a few different ASICS models and found this one to work really well. Love shoes - true to size. Using for work. Just wish laces were a bit longer.

I don't think these were wide at all. I bought them for someone else who suffers from feet that swell every morning and they were not suitable at all, so I kept them. Matter of fact they seem narrower than all my other pair of ASICS including a running pair I bought the same day. Perhaps there was a logistical problem. NEVERTHELESS I genuinely ENJOY them as a running shoe. On wet days heading out I look at them with longing, wanting to wear them but not wanting to get the grey and pink all muddy or slip on the wet ground. Perhaps the grip is for snow? Otherwise often when I'm just out and about with them on I find myself breaking into a run, running up the stairs, dashing here and there...my dog can barely contain herself when she sees me put them on, anything could happen - except trail running but the upside is she's become extremely responsive on-leash.

Great fit if you have a wide foot,and also need room for orthotics.(I normally take a 9.5 sized shoe)
